Wreck it Ralph for me was more about enjoying the little details the animators threw in as opposed to the story itself. I loved how the characters in the wreck it ralph game were poorly animated to match their limited arcade movements. I liked that the arcade owner was modeled after Walter Day of Twin Galaxies. Yes they spent too much time in the Sugar Rush part of the story but the details were amazing. They even had a reference to a lost level hidden within the sugar rush code. Thats pretty damn cool and very obscure gaming knowledge for such a mainstream movie.
Eagerly waiting for this gem to arrive :tears_of_joy: Hurry up May 17th View attachment 6137 Seen some screenshots of the french version that just released. It looks awesome and these are only a 720p snaps. http://i.imgur.com/20QuH2e.jpg http://i.imgur.com/YTNyogN.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kD4MUak.jpg http://i.imgur.com/YG5UQRV.jpg
I hear something about the sequel dealing with multiple ralphs one of which in a smash bros type game. Inderesting.
As you guys know, Wreck it Ralph has only just came out on the cinema in Japan but what I only noticed today is that it isn't even called Wreck it Ralph, it's called Sugar Rush! I bet this is because Japanese would have a hard time saying Wreck it Ralph I still think it's a cack movie though
I want that SFII Blu-Ray...but what I'm really waiting for is a (re)release of Transformers: The Movie!
Isn't red case reserved for the abandoned HD-DVD? Selling red case for BD disc might confuse people into thinking that older dark red case (that may turn up at thrift shop or boot sales) are also playable on BD player when they aren't.
Is there actually a re-release planned for the animated Transformers the movie on BluRay? that would be so cool. I own the DVD special Edition with animated cover but on BluRay would be even better IF they actually do a good job.
Not as far I know, that's why I'm waiting for someone to do it. I have an...unofficial 1080p version of the movie and it looks great, but I'd much rather have an actual Blu-Ray. Speaking of re-releases, apparently Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is coming out on Blu-Ray soon.
Roger Rabbit is already out on Blu Ray, at least in the US. A few more additions to my collection are on the way, The New Kyoto Arc Rurouni Kenshin Blu Ray, I'm a HUGE Kenshin fan so picked it up in hopes they animate the Revenge Arc as it was intended to. I also grabbed the UK edition of Harry Potter it's an 11 disc set as opposed to an 8 disc set for the US version. Lastly I have Samsara coming which is said to be the best Blu Ray EVAR in terms of visual UMPH
My birthday's coming up, so I decided to bite the bullet on this: So worth it, these movies have never looked better.
Picked up Rodger Rabbit the other day. Looking forward to seeing this one. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
I've been watching a lot of anime lately. Patlabor the original OVA just came out on Blu Ray even though it's 4:3 the HD upgrade has been kind to this show as no older anime has ever looked cleaner. Can't wait to see how FLCL looks in this transition.
Can you believe that I've never seen Big Trouble in Little China before? I watched it last night for the first time ever and while the acting is piss poor for the most part I really found the movie enjoyable and best of all the transfer to BluRay is very good. The movie looks as modern as can be. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Here are a few of my recent acquisitions. I haven't watched Jacob's Ladder yet, but I saw it a couple years ago. I remember it being pretty weird.
