Well I honestly just took an image of the original resolution and stretched it to fit the screen . Or I did it wrong? lol:shrug:
I asked nintendo for this several times in surveys. I don't own a DSi as I have poor eyesight. This is what I need. this is what half of Japan needs. Japan has people in their 70's playing games (remember the re4 grandpa?). Nintendo has upscaled the DSi before, in their Nitro capture boxes. I am sure they will address the resolution with some sort of upscaler. Can't wait to get one.
I found the DSI upscaling already kind of too pixelated to my tastes. I can't begin to think about how awfull it will look upscaled more. It would be like an JPG file that hasn't finished loading yet
That looks fantastic to me. I could get used to the small buttons. Although I do hope that when I play it in person it doesn't suffer the same issues the Lite did
Kotaku reports that the new XL DSi weighs in at 314grams, that's more than the original DSPhat AND the PSP 1000!!!
Finally a company isn't solely concentrating on making their product as small as possible. I think whenever I do decide to get a DSi I will have to super size my order. I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person who enjoys large things. You see all these people walking around with their tiny netbooks and here I am with my monstrous 17" laptop. I think this DSi will fit right in at home for me.
I'd love to have a handheld that was the size of a netbook. But... then it would be too heavy and wouldn't fit in anyone's hands correctly without looking ridiculously silly. Remember the fake portable gamecube mockup? Man, I'd buy that thing if it felt OK.
Just what I need ^ R-f***ing-F Yay for Distorted picture and noise... or least that's how I remember it lol. I haven't seen RF on a TV in years.
I will probably buy one of these. I've been soldiering on with my original DSPhat since launch, as I wasn't impressed by either the Lite or the normal DSi. This is what I really need, then I'll relegate my DSPhat to serving my download station carts.
Ouch, I'm curious to see one in real life but man so far the picture makes it look like a netbook and the weight is a bit too much.
