I decided it's time to flesh out my 11 year old Dreamcast collection. So I'm doing just that buying up VMUs controllers, games ect.

When proritizing games to get though I came across a few games i forgot about like MDK 2 and Omikron which I think the only reason to get the latter is the fact David Bowie has something to do with it.

Then there's Floigan Bros which I know NOTHING about and Ooga booga again a game I know NOTHING about.

Any other must have Dreamcast games that nobody ever seems to talk about?

Edit OH I forgot all about Outtrigger it controls a bit funky but it was the first example of an Arcadey FPS

Yes, it was a European only release I think. Quite a nice game for it's time.

That's pretty sweet, I might consider getting it for my DC collection as well. Omikron is a great game.

I've been playing Vanishing Point a lot lately. There are so many things to unlock in that game, it's really addictive.

Although the graphics aren't full of tons of detail, they are really really crisp and the game runs so smoothly at 60fps. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Note: The first cars you start out with handle like a joke and will have you skidding into walls left and right, stick with it long enough to unlock a couple different cars and the game gets much more fun.

Carrier was Dreamcast only the Demo weirded me out and I had no interest in it. I might still pick it up down the line though.

I remember the ODCM review saying that exact same thing.

Not wrong about the handling, Acclaim made awesome racing games.. Although that game isn't really racing. Very fun at that.

Forget about fighting games and Shmups.....

Can anyone name a system with more amazing racing games than the Dreamcast?

I actually own most of those games.

MDK 2 - Good game, can be quite challenging at a few spots.

Floigan Bros - Games only about 4-5 hours long, takes place in a very small area. Its neat in a Loony Toons sort of way, but not really that good.

Ooga booga - Love this game, easily one of my favorites on the system. I mean how can you not like a game where you get to fight against Abraham Lincoln and Leprechauns :p

Outtrigger - REALLY fast paced, 60fps too. The battle areas are very small. I does work with the DC keyboard/mouse but I've never bothered hooking them up for it.
