I never really liked Red Dog, the game really would have been better suited to a dual analog controller. Reminds me of Katamari on PSP in a way because of that, but is much less forgiving. Maxou: Are you just trying to list off every game you ever heard of on Dreamcast? That's really not the point of this thread...
All I know of Ooga Booga is that when Extended Play did their review way back when the gameplay was fine until you went online. There it was lag city no matter what they tried.
Well I made my dreamcast order today I'm copy and pasting so, they'll probably show up odd Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage Toy Commander Sega Rally 2 Blue Stinger Crazy Taxi 2 Soul Calibur 4 Wheel Thunder So some suggested here and some I feel I can't say I own a dreamcast without
Blue Stinger is TERRIBLE! I bought it for $4 about 10 years ago, and it was so bad I returned it saying it didn't work.
Really? I love Toy Commander, all the different vehicles to try out. The helicopter has great control! Two obscure Dreamcast games I love! Sega Rally 2 is honestly pretty crap. It just looks terrible and the handling feels weird compared to the arcade version.
I really like toy commander as well great fun! As for 'forgotten' games I am also a big fan of Re-Volt as far as it goes, I think its one of the most enjoyable racing games on the system (available on playstation also) although it can get a bit frustrating towards the end! Cannon Spike Evil Twin Spawn Dynamite Cop Zombie Revenge I like Arcade type games for a good hour or so play time. I think most of the 'forgotten' games tend to be love em or hate em types really like the ones I have mentioned
I love that game, too. The best software to learn typing;-) I wish there would be more games like Typing of Dead. Unfortunately the successor Typing of the Dead III was never released on a video game system.
Since Red Dog was already put in the list, I'll shot Starlancer. I play that game on my DC until these days. Too bad I never went online with it. :/
You're doing yourself quite the dis-service to not own Typing of the Dead. It's one of my favorite Dreamcast games. Back to the topic at hand, I think San Francisco Rush: 2049 and Virtua Tennis 2K2 are must-haves. Under Defeat is an excellent if you like shooters. Finally, Alien Front Online and Demolition Racer are worth checking out as well.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the servers are still up as it was through gamespy rather than seganet? No promises if anyone is still playing it though XD
I should also mention Vigilante 8 2nd Offense, maybe it's not completely forgotten since it was on N64 and PSX. The Dreamcast port was really good though solid 60 FPS really made that game more fun.
I always hated blue stinger and Toy commander. Might I suggest Millennium soldier, I've not played it much but it seemed pretty fun
I liked Toy Commnader. Gets tough as nails toward the end. Might I suggest: Record of Loddoss War Great Daiblo 2 clone.
