After the bombing of not only the 3DS, but also the forthcoming Cafe, I believe Nintendo shall transition itself towards a third party publishing business model.
Looks just like GC games under dolphin on HD, they didnt even upgrade the textures, let alone the models. Its HD, not a remake.
Legend has it that the reason the XBox didn't come with DVD playback out of the box was because of the (supposedly $10) licensing fee required for it. Instead Microsoft put out a $30 ($20 if you were smart and went to Costco) "kit" that amounted to an infrared receiver and remote control copied almost verbatim from existing RCA remote controls. $10 less profit to give your customers a feature that likely gave the PS2 the advantage it needed to kill the Dreamcast? Or $10 more to your bottom line on a console that was already losing you money plus the profits from selling a remote control. Not a hard decision if you don't mind having people balk at your business strategy.
I just did their zoom in, I didn't before, but it seems you are right. Seems to be a resolution bump but doesn't seem to have any noticeable increase in polygon count or texture resolution.
If your aim is to weaken the company then yes. Also it's still unknown how well or bad 3DS and Cafe will do.
Does anyone has received the latest update about the EShop and the internet ? How are they?? The first are the americans and the japaneses just after the europeans gamers.
You mean the update that's engineered to break Ridge Racer? Nintendo: "There's a simple fix... turn your 3DS off!" US: "Thanks, Nintendo!"
Yes, thats the same update. In the notification sent out via spotpass it mentions it'll break parts of ridge racer 3d, and that another update will be out later this month to fix that.
Yes, you will have internet without Flash, and e-shop with... um... original game boy games. You know if you're that jazzed to play GB games, you could have done better than spend $250 on a system...
It should have never launched at the price it did. Nintendo was greedy. It's going to look that way too if they drop the price just right. Really they are screwed either way as if they do it now it'll seem like sales are poor. If they wait till the PS Vita is almost out or out it'll look pretty bad too. Maybe they could have looked a bit better if they'd had killer titles at launch.
