anybody with a jpn 3ds try out the new 3d video service that went live today? Was able to dl it but haven't gotten it to work though. Also it seems this week we got 2 GB games instead of just 1. Yet i'm not liking how the shop only list the most recent 5 GB games and not all anymore (guess you have to search?). This shop layout is really stupid.
Anyone would like to help me trying to get the Oot Soundtrack from the american/canadian Nintendo website?

I don't get why they're doing just GB games. Why not SNES or NES games? When's the 3D video service thing supposed to come out in the US?
Yeah, I'm in as soon as they start with more 3D Classics. Or Super Mario Land 2. Or Mega Man and stuff. But I'm not very interested in much of what's available today. There are many cool DSiWare things, though. Still, nothing that I MUST have.
Ugg. I'm weak. I was holding out all week waiting for nintendo to update the site with what GB games will hit next week to see if anything really good is hitting next week but since they still haven't I caved in and got Double Dragon last night. Man the GB game is still loads of fun (on mission 3). I better hurry up and get my GB stuff shipped to me from japan before I dig my self deeper into this hole (of GB games on my 3DS). FYI I've currently got: Zelda DX, Kirby, Donky Kong 94, Phantasm & Double Dragon. They probably want to hit up GB stuff early while they can since GB was never on VC. Plus with out NES/SNES games on 3DS they won't have to deal with people bitching about rebuying the games again. =P
Even Europe supposedly got Double Dragon today. =P Still, I even notice for japan they seem to be thinning out the releases. All week the JPN site was saying only 1 GB game for this week but we end up getting 2 for japan and so far no update for what will hit next week (last week they updated for the following week on Wednesday, maybe they moved them now to Friday when they update the DSiware website).
I don't get why Nintendo are still continuing the same trickle-down BS as they did with Virtual Console. They should put at least every Nintendo game ever made up for grabs, since there'd be no licensing issues or anything, instead of releasing 1 or 2 per week. That way it'd at least make a little more sense to pay for ROMs that have absolutely no extra features.
I think the issue is that games have to be rated, so there's a time/cost element involved in releasing them. It's not just a case of throwing them on the server and watching the money roll in.
Oh yeah...that's probably why. But surely they could still put up more than 1 or 2 games per week? And if not, why are they wasting time and money on garbage like Tennis when they could be putting up Super Mario Land?
nope why? Hehe I think you mean Mario Land 2 and further. Mario Land 1 was out on launch day and a day later they gave us Zelda DX. But I do agree things like Tennis shouldn't be the only thing out for a given week. Adding it in with others is fine but not have it be the only game for that week. =|
I have an american 3DS and I received Zelda:OoT today, it seems the soundtrack offer is still available while stocks last, I'd like someone to register my game on their account for atleast a chance of getting the disc.
Oops, yeah, I had no idea what was already out in the first place But that was exactly what made me lose interest in the Wii Virtual Console: some weeks they'd only have one or two bad games, and some weeks they'd even have nothing. It's even more important now that the 3DS needs more games desperately.
What pisses me off is that Japan already has the first Mega Man and Kirby. Like, seriously, allI want are the GB Mega Man games on my 3DS. I loved those as a kid.
