Not British people. No one in Britain would call a pussy a bottom. It's a universal slang term to call a pussy a 'fanny' in Britain.
I think Americans tend to not realise that there are many different regional accents in England. Pronunciation varies, as it does in America. I was up in the North recently. 'fairy', I say 'fair-ree'. In Lancashire, it is 'Fair-REH'. What bugs me most us the awful fake "British" accent used by American actors; see Daphnie in Frasier for an example. I've never heard any real 'British' person speak like that.
It'd be easier to realize when they see that Ireland and Scotland are just extensions (for lack of a better word) and the accents are quite discerning. Maybe not to some inbred in Alabama, but it's not that hard to figure out. As xenophobic as it sounds, most movies (Hollywood anyway) are aimed at Americans... thus, they don't give a shit. I believe there are a handful of Americans that have done it for the UK markets (Bridget Jones Diary?), but usually nobody cares. The flip side is frightening some times. First time I heard Stringer Bell and McNolty from The Wire speak in interviews I about shit my pants.
Jane Leeves who plays Daphne is English... You need to go visit more parts of this country if you've never heard anyone speak like that.
Shes actually English? Shit. Does she speak like that in interviews? Because it sounds horribly exaggerated and acted regardless.
I should have known, that it was another of GoH threads, when I started reading. Damn, bugger, wanker , and tosser. Jesus Christ on the shitter, GoH grow the fuck up. Cause you are getting on my tits when you are in that mood.
I'm almost 30 I am grown the fuck up... Let us continue having fun That's why we're here right? Not like I'm being the antagonistic ass I was from my arrival here until a few weeks ago.
Eh besides that 1 term I love the UK...ok I love the UK execpt for it's draconian laws.... if they're really as bad as I hear they are that is
Ah, England's not so bad. I've only been arrested once and they couldn't do anything. Got a reprimand, which is basically them saying: "Don't do it again." I was doing it again the next day if I remember correctly.
