EH we'll have to hold off on saying that. If Gary Johnson wins at least 1 state this is a factual statement. I would have voted for Bernie Sanders, but at his age, he was never going to be the nominee.
A certain number of Bernie voters appear to be going for Jill Stein and the Green Party. Another fraction is going to Donald Trump. The remainder to Hillary Clinton, or not voting. With the way the polls have been, Bernie voters do not have their guy but (judging by the high split in the Dem primaries) they could end up deciding the fate of the election.
I don't like Trump or Hillary. But I REALLY hate Hillary. Trump is transparent in his assholishness. Hillary isn't she's as two faced as it gets. Whoever gets in is going to be a one termer, Because in 2020 I think even a retarded Monkey with an ISIS Sympathizer running mate could beat Trump or Hillary.
I wish Republicans would just throw their support behind Gary Johnson (who ran for the Republican nomination four years ago). Trump is too unpredictable and Hillary being allowed any access to classified info at this point is a joke (not to mention all of the other horrible things about her).
How about some good old conspiracy theories? Here's one: the hacker who hacked Hillary Clinton died in his cell in EU (Romania?). Police claims it was suicide. A witness, who going to testify against Clinton, died two days after the hacker. Coincidence? I'll let you decide.. *X-files theme song*
I'd talk more about Hillary and how much I hate her. But the last thing I need is another visit from the Secret service.
You give them both too much credit. If either is elected, I wouldn't doubt some crazy event happening that could end with one of them stepping down from office. Crazy times!
I never registered to be a voter, because you never know whether or not someone is actually honest and cares about the people. All most politicians these days care about is furthering their own political agenda, and they'll do anything for that to happen. For Trump, he uses hate-based rhetoric to appeal to and gain supporters in all those bigots, anti-LGBTs, conspiracy theorists and (most recently) anti-government dudes. Then, there's the fact that large corporations pay people to lobby for them for their benefit. I hope there's someone out there who will put those corporations in their place. Not only that, but someone's gotta do something about all those sovereign citizen movements, too.
Did you miss the part in Trump's speech where he said he's protect LGBT people? Wither or not he means it he's at least trying to pander to these people.
Conspiracy theories have a 50/50 chance of being right or wrong. It's either true, or it's not. Many used to find the idea of mass surveillance by government as far-fetched, laughable, crazy, etc. It was "lol let me get you your tin-foil hat" territory for a lot of people until the truth was finally revealed. Corporatism is inevitable when a government capable of interfering with the markets features a wide range of blank slate electable positions. Each one of those positions could be considered "control valves" of sorts. Since markets naturally work faster than government, they often tend to outsmart it (sold or not). Among the more powerful competitors are those who build propaganda systems, lobby, and bribe the way to exclusive gain as a form of competition. If you ever see a campaign from a fashionable association for more safety regulations on "industry x", it's probably sponsored by one, if not many heavyweight "industry x" producers. I can think of 2 plans to even out the scale: Plan A) Spark some force of energy strong enough to deregulate layers of "gifted" red tape and strictly enforce more ethics in government and corporations Plan B) Buy elsewhere, produce/make what you can Plan B is the way
