mine is the Iomega version of the 64DD Disk. There's also a Zip drive based 64DD, before the one developed finally by ALPS.

 

It's me all photoshopped for a bands myspace profile I did.

 

For once I'm proud to be a North Carolinian.

My avatar is just a detail from an old unfamous comic book,

Mine is a JLA villain I drew some time ago. I scanned the drawing to mess with it in Photoshop but i can't remeber neither the file name nor where I stored the original :crying:

You have the same exact avatar that some earlier member by the name of "Koolkid" or something had on the site.

When I saw it I thought he came back. Forgot why he left, or I haven't noticed him posting in a looooong time.

Mine is from one of my favorite cartoons: ExoSquad.
Side note: Part of the original artwork for my avatar was up on e-bay a few months back (just the characters, the background had apparently gone missing) being sold by the co-creator of the show, I bid on it obviously, but unfortunately didn't win... As much as I wanted it, I couldn't rationalize paying the $200 plus it went for (though I did come close in my max bid).

Mine is nothing special, just some Kanji which a friend of mine did for me as a tattoo template which i now have on my left arm

Its literal translation is life or inochi (not sure about the spelling on that) which is the closest match i could find to my wifes name in Japanese (Zoe)

slightly off topic but if anyone on the board knows the literal kanji translations for my kids names (Jacob and Anya) give me a shout. as would like to have them done at some point as tattoos, as sadly the friend who did the original one for me has since passed away

 

Ζωή is greek for Life (zoe). I think you should have gotten a Greek tattoo

 

Much as i do have a passion for greece, especially the mythology and history, at the time i had it done i was heavily influenced by japanese culture, plus i liked the design

 

Quite possibly the most dangerous thing anyone putting their avatar together could have done. Stand in a suburban street, in paranoid London, be of ANY ethnic origin holding a replica AK-47 whilst looking like you are out to kill! Hats off to you D - you have brass balls! :thumbsup:

 

My avatar is one of those stupid toys, it original had BOINK! written on it & a less nasty mouth. A few mins in PaintShop and it was minus Boink lettering and had a pencil sharpener type void for a mouth. No reason, just 'cause I liked it.

It alternates between the Bear and the Ninja Rabbit depending on which I can be bothered with.
