I've done a rough draft, but will follow up with the "proper" translation soon (there are a few points I wanted to check beforehand).

    Cheers!

    Hi Maxou,

As promised, here's the full text:

    --------------------------------------
Aside from the characters and background objects, among the first things you'll notice
are the oil drums, dynamite and other explosive set-pieces. "The scene with the door
bursting open and zombies pouring in, for example. If we'd incorporated that door
into the background graphics, it wouldn't have moved. It's the same in the scene
with zombies breaking through the walls and debris flying everywhere. Also, the
statues, lightbulbs, and lots more I've forgotten about (laughs)". (Yoshimura)

The effects for flames, water, weapon muzzle flash, herbs and so on, were
handled individually by the graphic designers. We made use of all sorts of tools,
but generally the output had to be done using 2D animation. "The animation was
quite limited, with frame-dropping and such, but we handed everything over to the
programmers to work their magic and factor it into the game". (Ueda)

    --------------------------------------

    Cheers!

    @Maxou

Just for future reference, it would be helpful to include the page headers when you post the scans as Japanese can sometimes be a tough language to guess the overall subject without a clear context.

Hey I'm looking for some Okami (the ps2/ps3/wii) game merchandise on yahoo auctions but I'm having a hard time to find the game full name.

On some site it says: Ookami Zekkeiban, some other say that it's Ookami Amaterasu (the name of the main character).

Does anyone know the real name of the game released on japan? What Zekkeiban means?

And I'm looking in particular for a plush of Okami, is there a name for plush things in japanese? How can I write the game name in japanese?

    Hi Fandangos,

Here's a quick rundown of the points you asked about:

    Ookami = 大神
Zekkeiban (絶景版) = Literally "Stunning version", but in this context "Remastered Edition"
    Plush toy = ぬいぐるみ

Drop me a line if you need anything else.

    Cheers!

    Hey Djandy thank you :)

大神 アマテラス the last word means Amaterasu, right? BTW what Amaterasu means?

I just founded out that Capcom pre-ordered recently a new plush for Amaterasu but it's sold out. After so many years since the first plush made for the release of the ps2 version =(
    I'm so out of luck.

Correct, "アマテラス" is "Amaterasu". As an additional tip, try adding "非売品" ("Not For-Sale") to your search for rarer stuff.

    Cheers!

Shinto Sun goddess, creator of the universe, actions of which are primarily described in Kojiki. Mythical ancestor of Japanese emperors.
Not to sound rude, but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amaterasu will give you a much more comprehensive explanation.

The other user it's me Paul.

Since the lame moderator worshiping Dion incident I asked to delete my old account and made a new one with the nickname I use on every other forum.

I'm still waiting for the tissue holder to pop up on yahoo auctions :)

    Haha. :) Okay, cool.
Well, just keep waiting. Are you using alerts to notify you?

I think I sent two Okami plushies to when they were released for Okami-den on the DS. That was quite a while back though.

Alerts? Not sure what kind you're talking about.

The Okamiden plushs are easy to find, there are tons on ebay, I want the amaterasu plush released for Okami (ps2) via e-capcom.
Or the tissue holder would also be fine :))

I'm at 30 hours of Okami game now, I'm just living this game.
