    Can someone please translate the text on these flash cards? I can read the katakana at the top but I don't know the kanjis at the bottom.

    - This product can be used for the development of DS-dedicated software or TWL-compatible/-dedicated software.
    - It cannot be used with software with mask ROM settings/mask ROM set [not my field of expertise...]
    - Please do not use it with the lid/flap open.
    - When touching the circuit board directly with the hands, please be careful of static electricity, etc.

    One huge obstacle in my effort to create an extensive archive of the Dirge of Cerberus Multiplayer is that I can't contact the Japanese people who played it to ask if they still have snapshots and video recordings of said online mode.

    Ergo I'm looking for anyone who is interested in acting as an interpreter/intermediator and helping me contact these people in their own language, in the hope that they might still have some files that can't be found on the web (and be willing to share those files). Send a private message to me if you're interested. Your aid will be credited in the archive, even if in the end we find no additional DCFFVII Multiplayer files.

    I translated line by line. Note, I couldn't read some of the kanji, so I specified that in the translation.

    It's independently published.

    I'm guessing you don't really need to know what the blurb says, but just in case:
    "This book traces the growth/development of game music. I recommend it as a guide for any game music listener. - Namiki Manabu, Game Music Composer"

    So on the first Godspeed You! Black Emperor "release"

    https://www.discogs.com/God-Speed-Y...cked-On-The-Hairy-Amp-Drooling/release/218865

    there is some Japanese. It seems to be "武羅悪区 江無屁羅". Going off of the Google results, it seems like it translates to "Black Emperor" or even "God speed you Black Emperor", but when I put in in Google translate, or use look at the kanji separately, it seems to be gibberish. Any explanation here?

    They are using the kanji as phonetics to build words:
    bu-ra-a-ku e-mu-he(pe)-ra
    This is often done by bousouzoku on their clothes, best example known is
    夜露死苦 for "yoroshiku"
    https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/夜露死苦

    You can find other examples in video games, eg:
    - 沙羅曼蛇 -> salamander (sa-ra-man-ja)
    - 魂斗羅 -> Contra (kon-to-ra)

    See: Ateji - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ateji

    What is the difference between these?

    Game Boy Advance version
    Tennis no Oujisama 2003 Cool Blue
    Tennis no Oujisama 2003 Passion Red

    More difficult? Or easier?

    I’m a little confused by this:

    [IMG]

    I thought it meant "not for sale" but on closer inspection there are 4 characters and I 'm pretty certain "非売品" means "not for sale" !

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
