Gaming is not a "lifestyle". But yeah, I've definitely noticed that the more real-life stuff I have going on, the less I'm interested in video games, mainly because they're just a fun hobby for me and nothing more.

I do wish I didn't own half the junk I currently do. I feel I could do so much more...

But that's how it is. And to some degree, I'm proud. I guess.

You shouldn't feel pressured to play any video game. Personally, I can spend months without turning on my XBOX, but when I do, I start playing games like crazy for a couple of weeks, but after a while I stop again. It's a cycle for me.

    fuck me running...

I explained the assignment. I did so three, four, five times.
    I answered every question.

This was at least two days before the due date. I projected the instructions on the screen. I answered questions, every question, several times. I can't even speak correctly anymore, because my voice is fucking gone.

And now, less than 12 hours before the assignment is due, I get questions. "What was the homework, Mr (Xerdo)?" "What? There was homework?"

I almost had a fucking aneurysm.

Then we have some sort of "homework-help" sessions after classes, which a science teacher and I do on tuesdays and thursdays.

So I was there. And there were students STARTING my homework, not even knowing what to do, how to start, or even how to properly write or follow the instructions. How can they not understand something that has been explained, answered, projected, and made available to them several times?
Can people really not understand simple instructions?

Mankind is fucking doomed. I cannot wait for the excuses, missing homeworks, and seriously bad-quality papers I will receive tomorrow. I am depressed already.

Don't be depressed, laugh at them and their crappy homework. Last year I had a software programming professor that did that, most of the students started working hard on that class to avoid being made fun of, that class was amazing.

Oh, I generally am very, VERY hurtful towards idiotic students and stupidity.

I'd never had a group where it was the majority of students.

I will laugh at them, for sure. But it's not as funny when it's most of them that don't follow instructions.

Just now, one of my students found out my facebook and left me a question on my inbox.

"what were we supposed to do for homework?" (only less well written).

For Satan's sake, this is going to be a LONG semester.

The british bullshit crimewave continus. My motorbike was stolen last night - no theft insurance either as a) it is expnsive and b) third party only is the legal requirement but c) it was declared SORN anyway so =/

The third motorbike I've had robbed now with no cashback =/

That's why you need to have your facebook profile non indexed.

    It keeps intruders away.

Regarding your students, make them all fail

In the end, though, the students pulled through. Some of them, anyway.

Everything went better than expected (except in one group, which is pretty much the illiterate party-fashion "jersey shore" group. There, almost nobody turned in the paper).

Now, I have to go grade 112 exams, and about 90 papers. Damn.

And it's going to be like this EVERY WEEK. It's a good thing I love my job, or I'd go home to give my revolver a blowjob.

Well rioters wernt in our town AFAIK - but crime has gone up a buttload as the police are few and far between. It took them 2 hours to arrive for this and th station is only 2 miles away.

Serious crime, how the hell can a water fight be a serious crime or an offence? We all done water fights as kids or most of us did at least so i don't see the point here.

Was the man going to be targeting random people in the street or just anyone who came along for this planned water fight?
