The planned water fight in hyde park last year was ridiculous. Nothing but a water fight happened and what seemed like an entire police force showed up for 1.5k people having a water fight

 

Seriously, having the police crack down on people splashing each other and shit? On what basis would they be charged? I mean that's ridiculous.

 

Damn, I am wondering, what the bloody fuck goes through the courts mind. Seriously I have been quite a few water fights for fun and games over the years, and it was fun. So what the fuck do they expect ? anarchy in the UK ? I am just shaking my head, and David Cameron is no better than the last one you had. Hell I am tempted to say even worse.

So Peter Thiel is funding the Libertarians to build their own island. It'll be interesting to see if the Libertarians core ideology is employed and works.

Long story short, its post apocalyptic.

 

Bioshock is about an underwater libertarian utopia called Rapture that goes to hell. I'm sure you can notice the similarities between this and an libertarian island community that specifically states there's "few restrictions on weapons".

 

Well I know it's post apocalyptic, and the people self-indulged too much and became wierd mutant things.

Also, I doubt if there were little restrictions on weapons, that people would just start going crazy. I'm pretty sure if one guy started firing in a room full of people, and most of them had weapons, he'd either stop, or be taken down. (That's just an example btw)

I'm sure people would have enough self-control to stop something like that from happening. At least I'd hope. Humanity may be flawed, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to do something, just because they might do something bad.

I wish I knew for sure if the girl I'm interested in was actually interested in me, too. But because of our situation at work, (me being her superior, plus dating coworkers is never a good idea....) I don't want to cross any lines or make things weird. She's a super cool girl though. And we've been talking a bit and hanging out casually in a group setting. I feel like she has given me some hints but I don't want to act because we work together... Oh well, I'll wait it out. I need to look for another job anyways...
