That thing is poorly written and probably not true.

 

At least some of them are real since I've seen a couple of those incidents the news.

While I'm not defending those cases (since they are all BS) when you take into account the sheer size of the US it isn't nearly as bad as that article makes it seem. I'm sure a similar number of cases could be found if you were to look throughout Europe as a whole which is much more comparable to the US in size than just a single country.

 

After seeing something Kevin posted on a certain persons facebook about a certain person who leaked certain cables I have to say. Manning had just as much coming to him. If he was enough of a fucking idiot to then tell someone about him doing it he did it for attention and nothing else. He has got exactly what he wanted.

You'd foam from the mouth and explode if you saw what the government of my state is doing. They gave two million pesos to some christian nut that "cures" gayness. The governor gets drunk and gives 200 million pesos to the church and says "all those who would be against this, go fuck yourselves".

Then, he claims he has no money for public education and takes away the whole budget for Guadalajara University, which is the only option for the people who can't pay private schools. Then they give out free land to the catholic Panamerican University.

All this, and the fucker takes orders from the Cardinal, who said something along the line of "Faggots are disgusting" in a public government function. With this, they pass a law that "protects the family" - that can be used to jail gay people, or women who have MISCARRIAGES (not abortions, miscarriages, for crying out loud).

It is very, VERY shameful to live in a shithole such as Guadalajara.

The current style of mexican government is favoured by the US, ever since the cold war. If someone were to try and oust the fanatics that have control of many states, it's not going to be the U.S. or its allies - because most ultra-conservative governments tend to be U.S - aligned.

Plus, seeing the success of their iraqi campaign, I really don't want any intervention from our dear neighbours.
