The reason for me is that its so destructive,it can tear families and friends apart,start wars and worse off its all based on faith which says I believe for no good reason.The thing is people of all religions can't all be right but they can all be wrong.

v64jr I mailed to Italy has, of course, still not arrived nor been returned, yet another european mailing disaster

 

I sold & sent a moderately rare pokemon card out a few years ago to a person in Germany (IIRC). Wrapped in paper and bubble wrap in a dvd size box.

3 weeks later the person got me on MSN telling me that the box arrived beaten to shit. Thankfully the paper and bubblewrap had kept the card sturdy.

This is why I hate posting out of the country.

 

I think I'm waiting on that one and getting a DSXL for now. The price should drop on DSXL since the 3DS is on the market. Besides, I doubt my eyes will stand the 3D effect.

I had that when I sold an NR reader once. Apparently it was for his sister's wedding.

Im not sure what's wrong with me. If I'm depressed or something, ever since my mum passed I'm just angry all the fucking time and will snap at my grandma for the smallest thing, I often blow up at teachers if they patronise me. Like earlier today I found out some friends had gone out and not asked me and it pissed me off, but I've blown them off so many times when they've asked me to go out before so it's totally reasonable. I need to do something about this before I end up snapping.

 

This happened to me when my father died, six months after my almost-fiancee left me for another man. I was absolutely furious at the world. I don't believe in god, but I thought it would be very cool if he existed so that I could kill myself and find and kill the motherfucker for doing all this shite.

I too became distant from my friends and my hobbies, and just focused on working as much as possible, to be exhausted enough to not have time or energy to think.

It's... natural, after what you've gone through. You just need to try and relax, though, I know you'll find it patronising if I tell you to just relax. But this will pass eventually. Try and distract yourself. Go to places where nobody can reach you to bother you. I wound up going, with my mum and sister, to a spa-like place with awesome thermal water, and just one day recharged our batteries a lot. Is there something similar for you, where you can escape?

Go to conventions about things you like. Play videogames and release the anger. Paint, write.

You'll get through it. I guarantee it. I was there, and little by little, almost a year later, I haven't relapsed much (though I still snap every once in a while. Most of those times, my students pay for it through horrendous exams, though)

As I've always believed, everything happens for a reason.

 

Have you got anyone to let off steam with? That you can talk to? I'm not one of those people who say "Feeling down? Go see a therapist/ask your doctor for some pills" or whatever, but it is really important to be able to talk to someone about this stuff. Keeping it inside is not healthy.

And yeah, like Xerdo says, pick out a game to get into, or something similar. Think up a project, something to be working towards, electronics or computers etc. Find a way to get your energy out - if you don't like sports then learn to play a game like table tennis or pool/snooker.

Don't let school get you down, either. It's shit but you're a stone's throw from being done with the place so just stick with it, and try not to lose it with the teachers, even though some of them will be pigshit-thick and uninspiring individuals. You're a smart kid and you'll be fine in the real world. All the pressure that seems so real and huge for exams and grades will seem amusing in hindsight, trust me.

As a teacher, I can tell you exactly the same, exactly exactly the same. Just stick with it. Fucking school is a breeze and you'll laugh about it in hindsight, for certain.
