    The build version alongside the code is just the grey screen with a loading sprite and a menu. The source also has a myriad of test/demo roms which are pretty neat.

    Everything loads in Nemu but not any other emulator. Most of the tests do not work on real hardware. Notable exceptions are:
    tron: Works only on real hardware
    topgun: Works better on real hardware
    testDriver: Crashes on real hardware
    tengine (the game): Menu crashes on real hardware
    morphcube: Better on hardware
    spin: Crashes on hardware

    I keep wanting to say this is a very early dev version, but I keep finding all sorts of fleshed out pieces. Needs more research. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    so it only contains one build that is not working? I Hope they find more :(

    I'm not sure if we can link to the source here. It technically contains SDK remnants. However, if anyone wants to download it, go to https://archive.org/ and search "Turok Source"

    It should be the first result. ;)

    But I think the Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the N64 came out before it?

    WOW, HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally, I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, I am downloading it right now, however, has anyone been able to compile the source code and get the game running? Is this the full source code or just an early development build? I mean, is possible from this source code create a complete new n64 game? Does it comes with the 3d assets, so I can import them into a modern 3d package (3dsmax, maya, blender) to use them as a base for creating some new assets? Does it come with a kind of model converter to convert the models and animations to the turokengine format?

    @udkultimate No one has been able to compile the source yet. It's an earlier than final revision, but it contains the source to the PC and N64 versions. From what we've researched, it appears to come with assets, but we've been unable to extract them from a container file. I don't think it comes with any "converter software," but maybe you'll find something buried in the archive that we were unable to find :)
