Anyone have the issue where the Crazy Taxi test fails after five hours and the GDEMU doesn't want to accept any SD card afterward? I noticed the unit works again after a few hours. I changed several SD cards and they all work after a while.

I had that problem a few times, clean the pins on the mobo where you put the psu over.
    After that the problem dissapeared.
Now i have dreamPsu,tested crazy taxi for 5-6 hours, keep running fine and with the dreamPsu the dreamcast stays cooler the before.

You are right! That's exactly what just happened and everything worked fine again!
Is the dreamPSU still available anywhere? I missed out on buying one.

I received my pre ordered copies of 4x4 Jam and Flashback for Dreamcast. I can’t seem to get either one running on my Gdemu, even after ripping them with Imgburn. The Gdemu sees them as unsupported discs.

If they're homebrew, they're probably protected against a simple ripping.

look for an error in your actions, 4x4 Jam don't have protection and perfectly works with GDEMU

I open Imgburn, choose "create image from disc". I get a "jam.bin" of 103,176 kb and a "jam.cue" file of 1kb. I copy those files into a new folder on the root of my Gdemu's sd card (in this case, folder 63). Am I missing a step somewhere?

Thank you. Imgburn and CloneCD both gave me an unusable image for the GDemu. Disc Juggler worked perfectly.

I'm having trouble getting "Centipede" running on GDemu. When booting the game, at the Sega screen the picture drops down 50% and freezes. I'm using the latest GDemu firmware and the latest GDmenu version. NTSC Trurip image. I have done the Crazy Taxi stress test and passed. I have tried with and without GDmenu with no luck. Can someone please test this to see if it isn't just me?

I have played the Centipede NTSC from Trurip with an american Dreamcast, no problem at all. Maybe your image is slightly corrupted, try with 2 emulators and see if they work too.

Try leaving comments in the most recent post on his blog, he usually reads them and answers there.

What video cables are you using?

@neuroacid Just curious. Is there any hope of a future GDmenu update with the case art scans you mentioned a while back?

I have been trying to figure out how to apply an RGB patch to certain GDI's to make them playable through RGB as I don't have any standard cables available. Here is a site I came across with multiple patches. http://consolecopyworld.com/dc/dc_patches_c.shtml
I know this sounds ridiculous but Centipede is the first game I found to need patched. The patch comes with an .exe file but isn't usable on my OS (windows 7 64-bit). If anyone can point me in the direction of Pre-RGB patched games or different patches with some explanation of how to apply them I would be eternally grateful!

Now that I remember, I used the Trurip image, but let the SD Card Maker for GDMenu to patch it with region free and VGA enabled. I used the oficial VGA cable from Sega.

Funny that I didn't need the region patching but I was handling a bunch of games within the same menu.

I thought gdmenu automatically patched on the fly with check marking them in the menu list so that there was no need to use the one in the SD maker. Also I'm talking about RGB-Scart not VGA there is a difference

Has anyone compiled a compatibility list of working/non-working games as well as size difference on GDemu after using "ReBuildGDI" to shrink the games?

Or does anyone know of any games that don't work after shrinking? If a compatibility list doesn't exist as of now, I may create one in the future!

Last thing. I've noticed that when using the ReBuildGDI tool that a lot of times there is an extra track in the newly shrunken file folder. Is that normal?

You can use GDIShrink from gditools.py to shrink games without GDEmu even being aware of it, with minimal operations done on files.
