    Re: Resistor mod others were talking about

    I use a Hanzo...Does that use the 12V from the console?

    If so, then I shouldn't add the resistor right?

    Not sure about the Hanzo but I use a Toro with the resistor mod without any problems.

    Just try it, I think it will work just fine.

    Dreamcast USB-GD ROM Controller V5 FIRMWARE IS OBSOLETE
    Same problem, when I start a game she says with red screen FIRMWARE IS OBSOLETE.Come can I fix this?

    Hey there, is it normal for Dr.Mnemo to take an abnormally long time to get back via email? I sent my payment and it is a week and 3 days past my lead time, yet I get no confirmation or answer when I email, I feel like ive been very polite with my emails and haven't been bombarding him, leaving a week gap between communications. Has anyone ever complained about never receiving product from him? Naturally I am very nervous, since this was a big investment.

    he seems to not respond too much, but appears everybody that orders from him gets usb-gdrom fine

    • FIRMWARE IS OBSOLETE
    • Tried the special update patch
    • Tried to install the firmware again
    • usb FAT32 to 64k cluster format
    • where you have to install the resistance?
      can you send me some pictures?

    Yup, it takes a while but the product is great and everyone received who ordered it as far I can see in this topic.
    I also bought him straight from him without issues.

    So it is fixed? :)

    I use 3.0 drives, they work fine.
    They aren't any faster than a 2.0 drive though.

    If you aren't able to rip your own games check out THIS topic.
    And take a look at the powersupply:
    - Install a Pico PSU
    - Install a resistor on the original powersupply

    I started using a micro ssd its amazingly fast at loading GDIs to the drive but runs the same speed for loading on the system.

    Thanks for the help, Ill wait until the maximum lead dates and If I don't get a communication by June, then I will just get paypal to refund, but since you guys are confident that I will get it eventually, I'm sure I won't need to resort to that. :) Im just disappointed because I payed for a shorter lead time, but is way past the lead time I payed for.

    About the resistor see my last post and click on resistor.
    The picture show a white block which is your powerunit. Put the resistor where GND is written on the white block.
