A bit late, but we finally have our photo of YamYam  I'd really like to know what it is about with that VK gold cart though. Looks clean on the (far distanced) picture, but not as shiny as the Nintendo ones..
Thanks for posting the picture Sepeh. It is nice to know they do have a Vampire Killer gold cassette in the end. ^_^
Wow, I missed this thread. I just went there like a week ago. The display was just about the same as Sepehs pic. And to confirm, yes it does look kind of cheap. It doesn't look spraypainted, but it is a much duller color. It looks more like the gold plastic they use in toys, as opposed to the gold-plated look of the SFC carts. Either way, yes it's there.
That was an official cartridge by Konami, It was given to winners in competion held by Konami, Apparently people could propose thier original charecter, scenario and so on for the game. I dont know if there are any differences to the normal release and its not for sale.
I'm surprised they had a contest like that considering how popular the mega drive was over there. Do you know if the gold cartridge came with a case?
@neozeed Where did you read/hear this? Is there some source available on the net? I suppose the case/manual is not have any different from the standard release?
hehe i was there some few month ago as well. but didn't spot that one. ok, my spare time after working was quite less and i was haunting for other stuff there^^
