TOO BAD BOTH OF THOSE GAMES ARE OLDER THAN TIME ITSELF. YOU DON'T SEE BOXART THAT BAD ANYMORE.

I LOVE IT WHEN THIS BOXART ISSUE COMES UP, MOST OF IT IS FROM THE NES AND MS DAYS. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT, IT WAS THE LATE 80'S AND EARLY 90'S.

I actually quite like the artwork, it fits in with the graphical style of the game. The Jpn boxart was totally shyte.

I think most of the threads related to bad boxart are usually one-sided, but lets face it, both American and Japanese boxarts of this game are teh suck! I like how the American one doesnt look very Casual, since Im sure several of them wouldnt get it.

Really? Take a look at the American Box art for Gunbird on the PSX and Shikigami No Shiro on the PS2. Both games were renamed to Life Force 1 and 2 even though they are completely different games by different companies.

How the hell they could pass off Shikigami No Shiro II as the follow up to Gunbird is a mystery beyond mysteries.

They underestimate the intelligence and taste of the american consumer.
That's the problem, and that's what irritating about bad boxart and crap localisations.

But yeah, boxart has improved with the years.
You know what sucks? Manuals coming in black and white.

Probably they thought that putting Charlie's Angels in the cover the game would sell better. One of the worse covers ever -_-

yea.. its pretty new.. and believe me.. its by far not the only game..
and not even the worst of them.
It is kinda fascinating & horrible to look at - at the same time
maybe even a lil scary&funny "Power up Kit"

well seeing how Japan deals with its WWII past .. its no wonder something like this can find its way to the market.. looking at the amount of similar titles *also published by Sega* there also must be clientel for that stuff
*btw.. I dont have the games.. just found the covers on some japanese site months ago

you think the cover is bad because hitler is on it, or because it looks like crap?

I didn't say there still wasn't ANY bad box art. There is from all sides. However, the US boxart has much improved since those "dark" times. Oh, and I'm still seeing the same examples thrown around over and over again....

I already said I was using the Shift key, not caps lock ;-)

to be honest.. Im not sure if I can answer that, BECAUSE Hitler is on the cover.
Even if the BG would be full of perfect shaped tits!

Besides: there are also other "famous" ppl shown on that cover....

Advanced Daisenryaku series are World War II strategic simulations games for Sega consoles (Saturn, DC) and PC. The cover is for the Windows XP compatible version I think.
