Indeed, I already said that SEGA did the biggest flop in history by doin a deal with DIC to make the sonic cartoon and comics, instead of goin to TOEI (the ones that did the intro in sonicCD) and commercialize sonic as an anime character, like nintendo did with pokemon.

And yeah, B&W manuals suck ass. In japan they got them in colors since the 16era, and today we still get the crappy newspaper look a like.

 

Not many, though. At least I dont have lots of games with B&W manuals.

 

In The UK N64 manuals were in colour.

Who even reads manuals? Printing them in color is a waste of money. I like the ones you get now and then that are blueish & white rather than black & white. Reminds of the SMS days.

I maybe one of the last people who reads the manual before playing the game.
I don't know, I used to do that with Atari games, when I first started learning English in First Grade - and I pretty much continue doing so.

Some manuals are in colour. Konami does that. Working designs does that. Namco does that. I think Square Enix does that. Capcom does not.

 

I allways reads the manual before starting to play games.. don't know why.. probably b/c I mostly plays RPGs and like to read up on the backstory of the game... and it always nice to know what all buttons do ^^

 

I read it before playing! I hate not having the manuel to games, and whenever I tell people that they reply that you don't need it to play the game because it's easy to figure out..........blahhh. I don't get how the hell people lose manuels witht he newer games when there's a place for them in the DVD cases....then again ton's of people lose the cases too, or just the art insert.....just walk into any GameStop to see what I mean.

 

I don't really read the manuals but I love to look through them. Thats why colour and good design is important to me

Dude, I will not buy the PAL version because it has EA's logo on it. I hope EA dies, because they ruin the industry. They are bastards, and completely kill innovation. And they're logo, it just utterly destroys the coolness of the game.
