Skavenger216: I am glad that I could help you. Since it was just a bit sad, we got derailed by an asshole. But I hope, I can help you in the future too in your quest. But check all the links I have given you. And check the whole thread for good links. maybe you will get lucky. ScummVM :: Home http://www.scummvm.org/ That site has some games too.
yeah but the version of DOTT that i had was the "full-talkie" ( i think thats how they referred to it on the disc) version that had recorded speech for all of the dialogue. Ive been able to find DOTT for download, but none of them were the one that had the recorded dialogue, and the voice-over work was what made the dialogue that much funnier. Hell, i may just have to resort to ebay for DOTT ( and Sam & Max ). While im talking about Sam & Max, and i apologize for going off-topic here, has anyone tried any of the new episodic Sam & Max games on Gametap?? If so are they any good ( or worth playing at least)?
I was discussing a classic the other day with a friend of mine. Simon the Sorcerer This game is a masterpiece of comedy. I played it when I was around 8 or 9, and I had no idea [at the time] that the game contained such adult humor.
The new one (number 4) is pretty good, much better than the dire simon 3d they released and on the subject of point and click games, i picked up monkey island bounty pack this morning off a carboot sale for a quid! and last week got the classic kingdom 'o magic

Simon 4? What?Where? I want! Also, try Runaway: A road adventure and its sequel Runaway: Dreams of the Turtle or something with the word turtle in it. The first one is superior in my view (Story-wise etc) and darker =) I can't preach enough for these games!
my personal favourites are: Jedi Knight Unreal Bleifuss Quake Star Wars Rebel Assault Max Payne Mafia
I used to play The Incredible Machine when I was a kid I think you can get it on Home of the Underdogs for free now.
to all those who needs to look at the manuals / instruction books. Then most of them are here. http://www.replacementdocs.com/ to the lovers of The Bards Tale games. The Adventurers' Guild (Ultimate Bard's Tale Resource) http://bardstale.brotherhood.de/ enjoy

They need to get their fingers out of their arse and find the source and release the damn thing. Then every body who has the original game and expansion pack and all that jazz can play the game AGAIN without thinking about, if it is Vista, XP , and Linux for that matter you are playing the game on. And if they will not release the whole game source code, then let just release the engine part so the game can be ported properly.
