Recently adventure games have turned into click and drag.. seriously, look at Tales of Monkey Island.. and it's devoid of classical MI humour for some part.
hmm what is your take on pinball games ? hell one of my favourite pinball games is Extreme Pinball and the table Rock Fantasy, but there are loads of other awesome Pinball games such as Digital Illusions famous Pinball Games, and Epic Pinball and Silverball plus the 1995 version of Silverball, but what is your favourite Pinball game on the PC ?
Games | VETUSWARE.COM - the biggest free abandonware collection in the universe (the game part of the site) http://vetusware.com/category/Games/?cat=7 Skavenger216: you can get the talkie version of Day Of The tentacle from there.
One of my favorite PC games is Lode Runner Online. It works great on XP in Win95 compatibility mode. http://www.daggert.net/Folio/Programming/Presage/LodeRunner/Loderunner1.htm

Wing Commander will be released as freeware on the pc. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/5840136/ea_to_release_wing_commander_on_its.html?cat=15
Some of my faves: Redneck Rampage Dark Forces 1 + 2 Yoda Stories. C&C Red Alert. Noir And one which you absolutely must get if you have an old PC is Toonstruck, one of the best point and click games ever made and it's rarely known and horribly underrated. It's nearly impossible to get it working well in DOSBOX too.
If you like click and point puzzlers, I would try to find 7th Guest. Skip 11th Hour (the second game) it's way too hard, not to mention they changed the story so much. =Hugh
Hi guys, I just found a Russian abandonware site Old-Games.RU Скачать старые игры. Постоянно пополняемый архив со старыми компьютерными играми. http://www.old-games.ru/ Yes, I know I do not read Cyrillic or speak Russian. Then it is pretty easy to navigate through the site, cause if you move the mouse over the Cyrillic letters. Then you should see the "normal" letters down in the bottom of your browser.
