I thought I replied to this earlier, but oh well, here goes.

True. When I visit used game stores, Conker is often one of the more pricey titles. I was fortunate to find it for $5 USD in thrift shop (it was either Goodwill or Value Village, I forgot), which was where I found those 3 other Jap region titles. A thrift shop that doesn't specialize in games is more likely to sell games for dirt cheap, so I frequent those places from time to time.

I do not entirely agree with this, but yes, N.U.D.E.@ is rare, but I am not convinced that it is the rarest Xbox title. I searched eBay in initial disbelief, and I see 4 copies up for grabs. My disagreement is primarily with titles that were not released in the US, but only in Japan. Example, take a look at eBay, and tell me if you find any copies of Rent a Hero No.1. Can't find any, can you? Probably not. Now, if you search for Innocent tears (at the time of writing this), you should see about 4 copies (including a MUCH rarer limited edition; no, scratch that, 3 because I just bought one!), and a couple of rare posters. Now, eBay alone is not a way of judging rarity of games. The fact that I've never seen a copy of these games in a game store in my entire life (and believe me, I've looked around for these; we have game shops that specialize in Japanese and rare titles in my city, too). Lastly, the original Xbox was not very well received in Japan, so the number of Japanese titles aren't exactly going to be abundant. You'll have better chances of finding these games in Japan, but even there, these titles are still not likely to be easy to come by offline.

Yeah well eBay has a horrible library of Japanese XBOX games, but they're not rare in Japan. That's where I'm coming from.

The only Japan only Xbox game I want is Metal Wolf Chaos.

Right now there's a grand total of 1 copy on eBay, for $191.

MWC is expensive in Japan too, it's a hassle to track down at a good price.

Ah, I wasn't sure if it was just that not many people import Xbox games from Japan, because, let's be honest, the Xbox kinda flopped there.

I wonder how rare is English version of Phantom Dust. Microsoft hired the guy who did Panzer Dragoon to make Phantom Dust, then drop plan to release it outside of Japan. Majesco did later sign a deal with Microsoft to release the English version in the North America market. I don't how many copy of English version did they sell. Price on a used copy did go up like crazy after Microsoft announced a remake for the Xbox One at E3.

Yep Yep NBA Jam is scarce and worth not much. But If you looking for an Rare xbox retail release anything NASCAR Wal-mart exclusive racing game from 2005 to 2007 is true rare. Value on the other hand is debatable as the vanilla versions of the NASCAR 2005 to 2007 is worth diddly squat. But for me in my hunt for all things xbox the Darkwatch bundle with bonus T-shirt a pre-order exclusive is the rarest xbox item hands down next to the supposedly Darkwatch with white T-Shirt in a Replica Coffin which was given as a prize. I know of only 2 other people who has a brand new copy one dude at segaage, and another dude at nintendoage. My example my be anecdotal but really even the hardcore Xbox collectors with full complete sets don't have a copy of it so it's value is priceless.
