Virtua Fighter 3 both Saturn versions Shenmue Saturn Castlevania Dreamcast Half-Life Katana Build Onimusha PSX Killzone / Kin PSX Posted two of these before, but now I've added four others
New one: The original 3D models used in developing the pre rendered sprites from Super Mario RPG. I'm sure they're in some archaic file format if they even still exist at all, but it'd be so cool to see what the devs used in making one of my favorite games of all time.
A holy grail of mine would be an early build of GTA V. Preferably a 2009 build (yes, builds existed that far back).
Some holy grails of mine would be: An early build of Luigi's Mansion, most likely something that was shown at Spaceworld 2000/2001 or even before that. Early build of Super Mario Sunshine Some form of the Mario 128 tech demo
Mine would have to be any piece of Valve Cut Content. Retro game-wise, it would have to be the E3 1998 Private Tech Demo of EarthBound 64 and the "Super Mario FX" prototype cart (it apparently was a 2D platformer with 3D polygons). I knew someone who claims that both carts exist and that they've played both of them... If it's possible, maybe a Pre-Brown Box prototype system would even be considered a holy grail.
I would love to get my hands on an early functional build of the Sims 2 from late 2003 or early 2004 as seen at E3. So much cut content to explore. Just a dream though sadly.
I'd want a build from November of 2003 to February of 2004. Did you ever see the write-up which I did (all speculation) on the game's development and how I think it may have played out? http://modthesims.info/t/584363 There's rumors of a fire happening... No proof of it ever happening and it makes no sense since people say "they started from scratch after it". It would have taken them many more years to have remake the whole game.
Any Rayman prototypes, but specifically any build of Rayman 3 with this level, which does not appear in the final game, and the Rayman 2 prototype used to make this trailer which is composed entirely of levels that do not appear in the final game. Kao the Kangaroo 3 has an unreleased version with enhanced graphics, screenshots of which can be found on http://www.tatemultimedia.com/en/games/kao-mystery-of-volcano. Based on the same page, this could have been a planned Wii port. I'd love to get my hands on this.
Update: I have the Artwork & the Proposal of Arlo Armadillo for the Atari Jaguar + other 4 proposals from B.J. himself.
For me, any LittleBigPlanet dev builds. I own a LBP2 debug build but I know there are some more dev copies out there. I'd be interested in getting my hands on any early build of LBP3 mostly (that isn't the beta I've recently shared here), as in my opinion that game has without a doubt the most interesting dev history of the series. I'm also down to acquire any Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter alphas/beta copies as well.
my holy grail is my original Ultra 64 prototype, bought it off of a collector for arround 500$, never booted the thing up (just incase it fries) and my (unnamed for now) First party n64 prototypes
Holy grails usually refer to things you don't have that you wish you could find, not things you already own. Now you're making me wonder what the first-party protos are
nothing like that, just a few games, some featured at shoshinkai 95, most of them i got from the UK, so its things like the canceled BUGGY BOOGIE 64 (and before you ask, all the roms have been backed up)
Conker's Other Bad Day full script; Any related Conker's Other Bad Day models/textures/artwork, etc, and anything else from RARE circa 1996 - 2001.
