Nice lot of various cars! Mate has an XC cobra he purchased near on 20 years ago for $14k, has it insured for $80k now.
2004 skoda octavia estate as my get to work car and take the dogs out car and my 1998 mercedes c250td estate as my weekender.. full c43 amg body and interior
Bloody hell, that Nissan Pulsar Gti-R sure looks angry Some very nice cars in this thread. I love the older SAABs.
Oh man! One day I hope to have an XA/XB/XC coupe - they are getting so damn pricey though! Always tell my dad he would have had a smarter investment blowing his cash on GTHO Phase III's instead of a house back in the day haha
Someone has a bit of cash Nice car by the way. I don't own one but I would like to. I may buy the Ford Focus ST next though since they've now been officially released in Japan. Or I may stick with Subaru. Hmm, it all depends upon the cash when I'm ready to buy a new car. @ bluexcell - man those spark plugs are in really bad shape.
Stick with the Subi. So damn sexy. I currently only have a 1994 Honda XR650L. It is a dual sport motor bike that allows you to jump from the street to offroad at anytime, which definitely comes in handy here in California. Wish I got a 400 - 450 though, as this thing is just too damn big/heavy. Still a great bike, though.
I f-in love my car man. It is FAST for an SUV. I added an amp and a pioneer app radio 3 with a Push2TV and its amazing!
1997 Peugeot 106 GTi 0-60 in about 7 seconds. Described by Jeremy Clarkson as the second greatest handling car of all time. He's not wrong. So much fun. Spent a goddamn fortune on it so far. Mainly fixing the suspension as it's been lowered all of the ARB links and tie rods were worn to hell and seized so there's been a lot of angle grinding involved. I'll be putting the original springs back on soon as I don't like lowered cars and the previous owner had done it...and not very well, one of the springs is upside down (orientation does matter on these Peugeots) and it slips when cornering hard :S Replaced all of the standard cloth interior with the uprated leather as well. Love this car but I must spend almost every weekend replacing something. It'll be perfect one day.
That's a clean 106 GTI mate... very clean indeed. I drive an 08' Audi A6 3.0TDI S Line; I'll get some pictures up when I have a moment. I've had her around a year now and unfortunately we've had a rocky relationship so far. Around 4 months after the purchase I discovered a very small water leak, after further investigation it turned out to be leaking from the head and had to be stripped down and gaskets replaced; it also needed 2 new intake manifolds. I got it back after 12 days off the road and instantly knew something still wasn't quite right (had a strange shudder at around 1100 revs that went away after first rev). I took her back; another 8 days off the road and I got her back. Turned out to be one of the valves running at sub 70% throwing things out so they took all 24 valves out and cleaned them by hand back to 100%. Cost me a small fortune but I am happy to say we have patched things up and she's running like a dream now. Toying with the idea of a re-map but I don't want to chance anything else going wrong... Also saving up for a weekender. Been looking at final edition (D2) S8's or maybe a C5 S6 plus... decisions, decisions!
I'm actually sitting in Subaru right now because last night some shit vandalised my car. The bonnet is scratched to hell as are many other panels on the car. Big dents in the bonnet and the windows are all marked where the shit head has tried to smash them. I did get off lucky though. The Nissan Skyline next to my car had all of the windows smashed, window wipers ripped off and the body work ruined. I really hope the police catch the bastard who did this. My car looks like shit now and God knows how much it will cost to fix everything. If the police catch the guy he will have to pay for everything plus we can sue the hell out of him. I hope they find him just so I can sue him. Vandles are scum. EDIT: just got the repair quote at 560000 yen. That is over 5000 us dollars.
