Well, for me it used to be everything on Translation Nation and DeJap. http://www.fantasyanime.com/garden/translations-main.htm I might get back into SNES ROMs and stuff, I might need a better PC controller though. I don't like playing SNES ROMs with the PC and mouse, IT AINT RIGHT IT AINT RIGHT!
Did anyone actually check out that Black Mesa link I posted. I mean there is no way to beat that !! That thing is beyond incredible. Seriously Half-life one is getting completely remade. Just go to the website and look here for some pictures of this thing. http://www.blackmesasource.com/media_levels.php And btw I'm pretty excited about Sonic HD as well.

You mean the one by the Brazillian guys? That's been done for ages, almost a year now. fantastic stuff too. I just wish it was ported to Dreamcast. Still playing it on the PC with fake scan lines will do. yakumo
Wasn't this made back when HL2 was released? I am pretty sure the collector's edition had Halflife: Source on it.
It did , but it just turned out to be the same game but with better water and ligthning effects, and it uses a Hl2 style menu
Half-life: Source was nothing more than the HL maps running in HL2's engine as I recall, so no asset improvement (although it probably used the high detail models from Blue Shift, I can't remember now). The Half-life remake project is obviously geared toward a complete asset recreation. It'll be interesting to see if they complete it, I'd give co-op story mode a go as well.
Kudos to z3ntn3l for mentioning Hurrican! It really did the old franchise ample justice. There's one mod everyone forgot about Deus Ex HDTP has been a long time in the making but it's inching its way to completion. Deus Ex btw is the one of the best games ever. It's still a work in progress. Beta 5 is expected to be released towards the end of the year, and it's probably going to be the final major entry in the project. My only gripe with the series is the ugly character portraits used for cutscenes. Oh and check out RedComet's translation of Bare Knuckle 3, when it's done it's going to be the definitive version of SoR3! A word about the Sonic fangames, I do love them but it's also doubtful that any of them will ever be *properly* finished.. But tech demos are always enjoyable and I suggest everyone looks up Sonic Nexus. vbmenu_register("postmenu_311042", true);
Your so right lol. They always come so close and then for some reason development stops Sonic 1 Megamix had so much potential!!!!
The Policenauts translation project. Moving about as fast as a tectonic plate, but it is moving at least. To be fair to the translation team, it does seems to be a real pig's ear of a job thanks to the way it was originally programmed.
hmmm under my radar... well I wouldn´t call it under my radar. But I am still thinking this old classic would rock , if it got the Amiga to Windows treatment just like the Wings Of Fury Remake got. The game I am talking about is Space Crusade , and if they even perhaps took and added the expansion part (there was an expansion to the Amiga game that never came to the DOS version) to it, and perhaps even threw in an editor into this mix. Then it would be smashing. Since the DOS version doesn´t hold to its Amiga counterpart at all. So if they remade Space Crusade like somebody did that with Wings of Fury, then it would be smashing great. And they shouldn´t put new graphics or anything like that, but just simply remake the Amiga 2D game in Windows, then I would be in heaven. Since this is an Amiga game I miss seeing getting the respect it derserves. Compared to the inferiour Dos version.
Sonic2HD looks awesome, but I'm afraid that the guys making it might stop at the 2nd or 3rd level And I'll like to see a more fluid animation on top of those graphics Here hoping somebody at SEGA with any brains left will pick it up and support it (impossible, I know...)
