It was messy from the get-go. Could never rely on anyone to do anything that they said they would. I was an art-lead briefly at the beginning of the project, but people stopped responding too often, and I backed out. Cant force anyone to do anything or meet deadlines for a free project on the Internet.
Cool -- thanks for the info. Seems like a lot of work for something that would still be rather incomplete, no? I mean... certainly there's tons of missing info still. Might need to hire those commandos that killed OBL to go into Nintendo HQ.
It's definitely interesting what happened if you go through the topic where they released their stuff. The project being behind closed doors, was the main problem in my opinion. I feel people may just have been inclined to get in on the project for the sake of enlarging their e-penises. There was a certain taboo joy to be had from getting into the "closed forum". Heck I even considered trying to join for that sole reason. It was a exciting concept to have the lead from the original game helping out. It'd be interesting for someone to compile a wiki entry on it a SonicRetro.
glad i could help yah it certnialy is an ambitious project " ura zelda restoration project " but they way i understand it they will use there own creative license for some parts that would be so nice to send the commandos into Nintendo's HQ and come back with a huge treasure trove
