What was the worst LE console?

I'm surprised no one mentioned that uber-ugly Mountain Dew Xbox.

That brown T-DEV GameCubes are also not pretty.

Well, T-DEV's are development tools and not created to please the eye. Just look at that ugly piece of a PS3/Katana/proto Xbox dev kit. It's a fucking PC tower invasion!

Anyway, MS's new xna dev kit deserves the price as "best-looking 360 ever". In addition to that I find the NPDP Reader very cool looking, just for the color. The same goes for the NR Reader.

And I have to agree with the Mountain Dew XBOX not being the prettiest (although I own one). It's so ugly it actually looks cool.

 

the white XBOX was the only version of that chubby hog I actually liked a lot.

 

White, clear blue Halo 2, black skeleton, PD Orta... there are actually quite a lot of nice versions around of that bulky black box.

 

Well, not ugly but quite dull, id have to say my MGS4 LE PS3.


It's not bad as I love it as I own it however it's not really that special. I love the color.

That one was epic simply because many of the ones sold in the US were given away for free by mistake.

Anyone who preordered from Konami, and then cancelled before release, still got a unit shipped but never got billed (and under US law they couldn't be billed).

Konami ended up giving away a ton of those things.

Then, when news spread of the freebies, new sales tanked. It ended up dumping all the unsold stock on Amazon to clear out at a discount. They ended up going for far less than the $600 asking price. That's when the collectors started picking them up.

One of the bad things regarding the Pikachu N64: it's got no bottom connector, so no 64DD or V64 action!
Otherwise it's OK...
I even admit playing and liking Pokémon.

 

I got mine for $400 dollars off of Wal-Mart.com.

I think my least favorite of all time is this thing, the "tribal tattoo" GBASP:




It sums up everything about bad American LE system design. No thought put into it (normal silver GBASP with applique), it's incredibly ugly, and it wasn't even a real limited edition.

Tied for second would be the Halo 360. It looks like something that fell out of a dinosaur's asshole:

The colors of the Mjolnir Armor and it's visor?

 

it's master chiefs colors. It's not that obnoxious of a green, it's a nice military green. And there are lots of minor details, with model numbers, etc all over it to give it a military look. I love mine. And that orange HDD = GODLY on an Elite.

The stock photo used on it i don't think is the final version because it's a different hue of green, unless they altered it in post. It's definatly a much nicer console in person.
