I am fairly certain I compiled a near as damn it complete list of all Gamecube variations and there is alot more than is on that list. I will search for my list at home and try get it here for you guys.
@port187 Oh yeah, initially the list was to be posted on a German forum. "mit grünem GC" means "w/ green Gamecube" although I'd say it's not exactly green but lime green or something. However^^" @kiff That would be great, I compiled that list without further research. Especially the US-part is VERY incomplete, the PAL section probably still lacking a couple of software bundles. I didn't want to count in prizes though, so the MTV gamecube and Heineken ones ect. were not included.
Tales of Symphonia LE is the mint green one: Out of Box In Box Not the worst LE console, but since the thread went off a bit... Gundam Gamecube Enjoy Pack Plus had a red and black GC in it: Out Of Box In Box
I don't know what you mean with "blue GC's", Arkanoid. The only GC that comes close to a blue color is either the regular purple one or an NR Reader.
What? The spicy orange one? That's my most beloved console, just due to the color! While I like the GC in general, spicy orange would've made a brilliant limited color. It's not limited though, so I may just call it my "favourite colour variant ever". I always wanted one when it was announced for Europe and guess what a major disappointment I experienced when there was just purple and black!
I personally don't care about any white systems. I don't know why there was such a craze on those (white XBOX 360, white PS2, white GBA, white PS3, etc). Seemed to be inspired by the ipod. Almost as bad as the wood look for consoles of the 70's-early 80's. For me, one of the worst was the swirly blue Neo Geo pocket was pretty atrocious (looks like a blue Irish Spring bar of soap). Bad enough that the system was a flop and the god aweful d-pad was quarter-assed.
I quite like the stick on it, still working fine after years of twiddling. Can't say the same about the backup battery judging by the photo. Still, the NGP has the best startup EVER!
That stick was too slippery for me. Especially during fast paced (kinda hard to say that being as the games didn't really go all that fast) action in games like Metal slug, where my thumb kept on slipping off the stick. The system had potential, but was no match for Nintendo. I'm still looking for a Bung Neo Geo Pocket Linker and flash cart...
I like the NGPC's stick too. The main problem with that system is the lack of a backlight. It's a deal-breaker for me.
Personally i really hate this colour of the Resident Evil 5 XBOX 360, its like they've thrown a couple of tomatoes into the mixture and thought that'll do.
Aside from painting it red what exactly make this a res evil 5 xbox 360? Now that's looks like one of the laziest mods I've ever seen...
Uhh... the box? Haha. As for the NGP(C), I liked the stick but I always think it is a bit flimsy feeling. Nowhere near as nice as the NGCD pad.
How about the FFXIII Xbox? It's a white elite. WOW. They slapped a special hard drive on a pro. Woop. That's IT.
