If people don't mind answering, I'm actualy quite currious what some people here do for a living. For me... I'm a PSP Programmer for Ubisoft Montreal.
I work in a video game shop. We also have an Internet Cafe / LAN gaming arena. I work down there most days. It also doubles as the PC repair department, where I fix and build PCs.
I don't really make a living doing what I'm doing (A stocker for a crappy discount store) but some of my co-workers do, and one of them even has to support kids from a previous marriage. That is so sad.
I am a champion midget bullfighter, Chinese pink river dolphin fisherman, Alaskan river otter scrubber, frog eye-ball cleaner, deep french fry diver, and olfactory ninja to the stars. In the daytime my secret identity doubles as a lowly website QA/ web desginer for useless auto companies that have zero design sense, and reject everything I do becasue they're souless corporate sleazebags who just don't know GENIUS when they see it. Thankfully the environment is the best ever and we get free bagels on Fridays (not to mention I get paid far too much for what I actually do. But they don't need to know that.) I also run like 23 websites, and don't pay enough attention to any of them. And I like to pretend I'm an artist. I used to make coffee too. Thank God that shit's over with. I used to also be a major pain in the ass forum troll. Like I used to purposely go around and post on right wing, bigoted, white supermicist websites with the sole purpose of starting fights, disrupting things, and generally making thier stupid boards unlivable until I got banned. You know, like making fun of Holocaust deniers and the like. It's been a while since I've embarked on a crusade... as you get older, you cease caring as much.... but it is still one of my lifelong duties to destroy racist ignorance... I'm thinking of gathering all of my arguements and flamewars and publishing them all in a book called "Confessions of a Professional Forum Troll." Lord, when's it gonna be my time!
Tech bitch: the A to Z of fixing computers, which also includes digging up new and disturbing filth on the internet both for my supervisor's enjoyment, and to let them know I'm a force to be reckoned with. I 2girls1cup'ed not long ago. A while back, one of my bosses was being a complete ass cock and was seriously bombarding me with the "have fun playing poker at your gay sailor party, fuck face?" jokes one day. So, I tubgirl'ed him. He kept at it, and I gave him this wallpaper on his quad-display. It was a Linux box, so he couldn't figure out how to take it down. His aunt and uncle visited the office that day too. I have a pretty fun job
I stock shelves at a grocery store. while struggling to actually have time to go to the alternate school and finish my like last 2 courses for the adult diploma they forced me into. and then after that i have to try and convince colleges that this is good enough for the stuff i want to do Thats what i do for a living
I supply parts for american cars based in the UK ranging from the 1930's - New and occasionally the odd Hot Rod & Custom etc.
Worked in the music industry for almost 2 decades getting to the position of Assistant Promotions Manager for the French music industry abroad (declined the managers position in London because of family commitments), was involved in a bad accident, was off work for almost two years and changed careers. Now teaching, which might comes as a surprise to some as I have memory issues as a result of the accident (my excuse and I am sticking to it). Incidentally, I worked as a DJ, which led to music production & production of radio material for several years! Great fun! Best night of my working life was seeing Laurent Garnier DJ at the Arches in Glasgow, Scotland. Outstanding performance.
I am the scum of the earth. I am the one that you despise secretly. I am the one that, whilst you are busy working, I am here. I am a student.
I'm a website administrator. I combine this with being an instructor in the youth national guard. (Or whatever you would call it.) I rarely have time to play games, actually. And when I do, I play older, NES games and such, because they don't require 20+ hours to finish.
Welcome to the club  I'm too paranoid to post my actual job in case I run for president one day and somebody googles me up and find all my no life postings :-(
I currently study computing at college in edinbugh. Don't have a job yet but looking so most of my free time is spent at home on my computer or playing my consoles/handhelds just so they get used rather than sitting there.
