What you do for a living?

I study medicine, and I'm in my 6th (and final) year. Made the last real exam three weeks ago, but I still don't know the results. After finishing all the theorical part we still have to rotate through some of the hospital's services till summer, and then start studying for next year's specialty exam.

I'm currently doing my apprenticeship for becoming an IT spec1alist in system integration and also working in projects involving JDEdwards and SAP. also a little bit c++ but not enough to earn extra money with it

apart from that i'm working in our local youth club, organising stuff, cleaning up and so on. no money for that, but i don't care as i can help people and there's nothing greater than looking a child in the eyes and you can see that he's glad and wants to thank you!!

that's why the IT branch fucks me up, it's all about bullshitting people and arrogance, egoism and so on...where's humanity in the IT branch? tell me...well, sorry for getting a little off-topic but i wanted to get rid of it.

also i'm thinking about what i could do with being an IT spec1alist in japan or korea ;-)

 

IT branch of what? if you mean most companies I totally agree with you, but the thing is that theres the same kind of bullshit and arrongance in all levels, specially business.

 

arrogance is what some people want to see when they pay good money.

Anyway, Since 2005 I've been working as a computer technician at a local system's builder. It's alright money, but I'm currently going back to school studying Civil Engineering (emphasizing in structural and possibly geo-tech) and after this semester is over I plan on going back to school 3/4-time or possibly full time. I would like to get an intern job at an engineering firm this summer. I want to get out of where I work because it has nothing to do with what I'm learning and I need to be able to apply the stuff I'm learning so that it stays fresh, especially when I take my FE exam, which can bump my starting salary to at least 45,000 and still finish up my schooling.
