I'm a metallurgical engineer (a mining branch of chemical engineering) by degree, however am actually working as a "Senior Sustainability Engineer" for a large (one of the world's largest, soon to be even bigger) mining companies, looking after environmental process engineering stuff on new mines and smelters.
I manage a construction/ building security company. We supply all types of security equipment for construction sites. It can be as dull as it sounds but alot of the time I can just look the internet up to feed my gamecube habit.
My full-time job is electronics sales. In my off time, I manage several local business's hardware and software setups. If it wasn't for living in the middle of nowhere, I would probably have more clientel and make it my full time job. (My profile just lists the closest city someone would recognize, I'm close to an hour away.)

Don't worry barc0de, during the day i'm a normal guy, but during the night i become a porn addict. I was just jocking, during the day i'm not at my home so I don't use Internet, and when i get home at night i have to study, and then I use the computer for checking mails, view forums, and all thet kind of things. Business administration student, ex-game design student (one of those game schools which are complete BS). Not totally into business but hey!, you can be a suit, know shit about coding and yet get a nice job in the industry, but I've heard enough stories of programmers and such being out in the cold for having no idea about how business are done.
I am a computer technician working in a very large secondry school in north yorkshire. I keep the teachers laptops working when they forget how to turn them on, upkeep of the ICT rooms, servers and web work. Its a good job and I work with a great team. Just a shame I have to deal with the students as well
That sounds familiar! I've worked the last 3 summers in a school rolling out upgrades etc. Are you an RM school, or are you sensible and run away from them screaming whenever possible?
