When will the transvestite fad be over?

About japanese TV and TV in general. I've noticed ALL TV around the world sucks. It is not isolated to TV not in the west. Even here, TV generally sucks. We certainly have it better than most over here I imagine, but there is often little to nothing on to watch. Though, I suppose that's better than just nothing at all. And before we got the Dish I rarely ever watched TV. Broadcast TV is terrible. You can watch the news and that's about it. 99% of the rest is crap.

Someone mentioned they thought they'd see some cool anime on TV over there. Considering we have hundreds of channels over here and even we only have maybe 1 channel that will run mostly poorly dubbed anime, I can't imagine why you'd think you'd catch it in japan. Maybe if you had some kind of pay tv service I guess, but free TV really does suck.

 

I've never lived in the US but I can say for sure that UK TV is miles ahead of Japanese TV. At least we have shows that differer from each other and dramas that you can't work out the plot after 10 minutes of the first episode.
