Which obscure Xbox release do you feel will become rare/valuable in the future?

they have factory sealed Shemue II PAL for A$20 or less and there are more than dozen at any one time in their discount bin...

also common at local EB...

 

What about Kakuto Chojin? The game sucked, but it was quickly removed from store shelves because it had a muslim prayer in it.....might be worth something some day....who knows.

 

only the very first printing batch where the Koran chanting is used as BGM...
believe it was subsequently removed and revised copies were released later on...

 

how many PAL copies of these are about?

 

3 on ebay UK, 2 with buy it nows, one at £13, one at £15. Might one day be rare, but never desireable

 

Not bad. Then again, Tennessee is one of the worst places to find anything, so that may be why I was never able to find it.

Speaking of rare games, was Dronez ever released for the Xbox?

 

guess they are the same group who bought PS2 B. Spears dance crap...
at least our PAL release has nicer cover compared to US release - were they so worried that young girls will starts to strip seeing her in pinky top?

 

For PS2, how about Culdcept? I heard they only made 10,000 copies for the US release and my local EB is selling them for $10 brand new.

 

Nah. I generally see equal numbers of both versions in most of the gameshops where I live.
EB.com often has sales (under the Hot Deals section) on both editions.

 

Rarest Xbox Game

I remeber someone talking about a really rare Xbox game a long time ago, some kind of mech assault or something along those lines. Anyone know which im thinking of?

 

You're thinking of Steal Battalion... it's not exacly rare, it's just huge. Like the size of my coffee table kind of huge. Actually, at one point, it was my coffee table. You can see a pic of it on my photo thread.

Sadly, this isn't even the biggest bump of the day... :-(
