Hard one, don't know if I have any real favorites but I guess maybe Gunpei Yokoi, Tim Schafer, Suda 51 and Hideo Kojima?

Ok listen up, you little post whore, your name is perhaps Barc0de , but both in leetspeak , and non elite speak then it is still pronounced Barcode. And by the way, I would say, having an extremely high post count and you have only been here since October 2005 , well if we scrutinised all your posts, we would probably find lots of them were useless. I have been here , since the ugly (to some anyway) March of 2004 and my post count at this time of being is 3,645 posts, and I know in my heart alot of them ( my posts) are worthless. But at the same time, I couldn´t care if I only had 300 posts, but I would have loved, that my 300 posts were filled with golden knowledge. And if you ask me, then probably only 300 posts of mine are great. And the rest are shite. A high post count doesn´t mean shit. or for that matter the years I, or you have been here on this forum.

Does anyone even come close to Kojima these days? Maybe Mikami with RE5, we'll see.

No, but everybody knows who we are talking about , when we are saying Barcode or Barc0de or for that matter B4rc0de. So your smartass attitude makes me a bit annoyed at times. After all, I don´t correct people, if they write wolverine or wolvie WDK etc. . But Barc0de quit your innocense .

There is no one person, or at least not in the last 20 years. It is always a team effort.

Ummm... Been thinking about this one...

I'll just pick one for now.

    Yu Suzuki
Space Harrier > OutRun > Power Draft > Virtua Racing > Virtua Fighting > Virtua Cop > Virtua Figher 2 > Shen Mue

Who's got a better career record than that? Not iD/Carmack, not Kojima, none of these guys. With all the other games he did in between. For me he was the rock that Sega was built on. There were other super talented guys too, the Daytona guys, Sonic Team, but this guy was the cream of the crop. I do hope he's got more left in him, and I hope he finds a patron again. Everything he did was obsorbed into gaming, and made gaming richer.

Provided me with years of entertainment. Top of my list for sure. King of the home and the arcades. Gaming is poorer without him.

I have several favorites. I took it a step further. I had them sign their work
for keepsakes :) But my all-time favorite creator will have to be Gunpei Yokoi.

    Here's why: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anyTBA46eyY

All because of this man - here we are today :)
