Lol, I played my first 1/2 game on FIFA in 15 years, last weekend, I'm still crap and still doesn't understand much about the football/soccer x)

Wii is all right, I still love playing Star Soldier R now and again and Metroid Other M.

But it's like Kinect mostly I play Wii with the lady, friends and family, it's good fun. But my serious still happens on PS, Xbox, PC Engine and Megadrive :)

I just hate all sports games period. If I want to play sports I'll go throw a ball around. I got a console to play games, not practice sports...

I have no idea why companies are still trying to shoehorn motion controls into their systems. That ship sailed in like 2008, nobody gives a shit about motion controls anymore, just let it die.

I agree partially, I find touch-screen more frustrating TBH, in fact gaming on phones and tablet is frustrating. Vita does a good job with the touch screen as an extra.

I will defend motion control in saying that it's fairly functional on the 3DS, and it's much less of a hassle since you don't need any additional parts to make it work. I just always hated the extra cord and sensor with the Wii. Plus, the vast majority of DS games don't push the motion thing or even support it. I mean, it's a fairly different concept, but it's interesting... unlike waving a remote around sporadically to perform actions in Wii Sports/Twilight Princess.

I haven't played a 3DS game yet that does anything useful with motion controls, the only games I have that even support it are Star Fox 64 3D (where you can just use the circle pad instead, which is a much better idea) and Super Mario 3D Land (where it's practically useless and you can use the circle pad anyway)

Yeah, well, I admit I haven't used it in many either. I think it's actually way better for aiming with bow and whatnot in Ocarina of Time than the circle pad, though... that's really the only game that made me see the potential for it, and it works very well.

To me, Sega Saturn or Dreamcast best console in my opinion.

Super Mario 3D Land has motion controls on 3DS? I had the game and never knew that. Beat it and gave it to my cousin.

The binoculars you can look ahead with can be controlled by moving the system around. That's it as far as I know.
