While I'm already a 360 owner I can't help feel saddened that these two games aren't confirmed as coming to 360?

What does anyone think the chances are...Of them getting ported?

    Think it'll happen?
    Got any Proof?

Other then these two games I'm statisfied being PS3-less...

I think Sony will do everything in its power to stop it from happening.

    Dude...

Lost Odyssey is on the 360.

Trust me, you will never even think about Final Fantasy after that.

FF maybe, since squeenix needs the money.

But MGS4? no way dude: they barely got a crappy bugged port of MGS2 for Xbox and it didnt sold well, theres no way konami will port from PS3 to X360 after all the custom code made for the CELL.

That and Sony has their souls...

I need to play this. You really make it sound good.

I always wondered if maybe they made it fuck up on purpose sometimes. The game actually plays fine, it just goes into slow motion at times. I still liked it more then the PS2 one, though I guess Substance was on PS2 too.

I think it might happen sometime. However, if it really is optimized for PS3, thats probably where you'd want to play it. They seem to have re-released every MGS game at least once, so who knows what MGS3:blahblah will be on.

FFXIII? Doubt it, square is really anal about the western market and can barely translate a game without massive delays.

MGS4? Possibility, although I don't see it happening until after MGS4 comes to the PS3. The way I see it is Konami will judge how much of a success it was on the PS3 before deciding anything. If it fails, I could see them forcing Kojima Productions to either create a enhanced port (Substance, Subsistence) or outsource it to someone else. Even though people could argue that disc space is a issue, other games have multiple discs on the 360, and I bet they could put it on 2-3 if they needed to.

That one I'm sort of interested in, but not so much FF13. FF games just don't grab me anymore. Still need to try 12 but nothing about it jumped out at me. I guess the Square Soft days RPG's were the best.

I'm looking forward to LO, but I felt rather dissapointed with Blue Dragon, which I found quite repetitive and boring (it was not the rebirth of the old Squaresoft "magic" as they tried to sell it for me). If FFXIII is anything like FFXII it can be a pretty interesting game.

On the other hand, I've always thought that it should be much easier to see a MGS4 port to 360 than a regular game of the FF series (online games, spinoffs and such apart).

I feel that too c0de, as good as MGS4 looks, it does seem to be the BIGGER BADDER BETTER philosophy...

imho MGS4 will come to 360 within 12 months of its PS3 release, that is unless Sony can shift double the units they already have in that 12 month period - isn't the market share 2:1 to MS (Wii excluded)? With the mammoth production costs it seems retarded to completely loose 2/3 of the market.

As I say, if all of a sudden PS3s are issued to you in the post then 360 will see no MGS4 - I personally don't see this happening, Sony are also going to keep the PS3 price stagnant until at least a month or so after MGS4's launch to ride the wave of impulse buyers.

Will be an interesting time when that sucker's released...

If Microsoft wants them on 360 they'll be on 360.

need we list all the PS3 exclusives that eventually came to 360?

I personally hope FF XIII and MGS4 NEVER come to the 360. The 360 doesn't need them at all. The 360 has a shitload of games for it especially games that are exclusive which people say are the reason they own it. I hope and pray MGS4, FF XIII, and even Star Ocean IV once that is released stays PS3 exclusive. It's PS3's turn to get some nice exclusive games so 360 owners can be left wanting for once....like us PS3 owners have been almost since the console's release.

How I look at it, you pay for quality. If you want a system that is not reliable and breaks and is cheaper..than get a 360. If you want quality... you pay the extra $$ for the PS3 and you get it in spades. I have owned my PS3 for quite some time now and I am very happy I went the PS3 route. I think its a great console with a great future. I think this year will be the 1st year of the PS3's uprise.

I also cant wait to be able to play white knight story as well :)

Newsflash: The PS3 can never have all the quality titles tha 360 has, because not all are multiplatform, (although most are).

The quality is bad, but a console's quality is judged by the fun it generates and its quality titles.

As it currently stands, the 360 is the console with the most quality games - owning a clock of a console to be used for 1-2 titles isn't my idea of fun (unless it's a N64 DD)

I've been trying to get myself a current gen console, but i can't decide which one to get. I can't decide whether to get a 360 or a PS3, i want a PS3 but only for MGS4, you think buying a console for only one game is worth the money??? (i bought my gamecube only because of Twilight Princess, and i thinks is one of the smartest things i've ever made). But on the other hand we have the 360, which now has more exclusives than the PS3 but the quality of the console itself is not very good.

I think that right now the 360 is the best console, but the ps3 is starting to get better and better. Maybe i'll wait till July to see how things turn up.

If MGS4 is ported to the 360 then maybe i'll forget about the PS3 and buy the 360, but the PS3 will still have the God of War franchise, and i love that games

well if you have games to play , and subsequently can wait, then a 360 sometime in the future (when they iron out all the issues) makes a lot of sense.

As it currently stands though, just go retro for the time being, because neither the PS3 nor the 360 cover some fundamental basics.

One is quality of build, and the other is quality of software.

Lost Odyssey destroys Blue Dragon. Like, completely.

Let me put it like this:
I like Blue Dragon. I love Blue Dragon even. I've played through it twice. And I was REALLY excited about Blue Dragon 2. But now that I'm playing Lost Odyssey, I'm like, "Um, I'd rather they just drop Cry On and Blue Dragon 2 and just make Lost Odyssey 2..."

Seriously, Lost Odyssey can pull create emotions in you like no other RPG that has ever been made. The game is insanely well balanced, and unlike every other turn-based JRPG in existence (even including Grandia II) the game NEVER devolves into you mashing one button: even the random encounters require you to think out a strategy and execute it to the best of your means.

Lost Odyssey is the game that made me realize why OTHER people don't like turn-based RPGs since it made it so fun. And Lost Odyssey is the first JRPG I've played that has shown me that it IS possible for a game to make you cry, then ten minutes later have you laughing out loud, and then ten minutes later have you pumped up to go fight the bad guy.

There has been no JRPG since FF6 and there is no JRPG coming as far as I can tell that can even be held on the same level as Lost Odyssey. I wasn't expecting it to be this good, but by God, it IS that damn good.
