With all Microsoft's back tracking are we reconsidering the XBOX One?

got them cheap in a humble bundle sale, quality, although only played a short session so far

 

I had only recently got around to playing Lost Odyssey and my DVD drive suddenly quit working. Then not long after, my power supply failed. Time to buy another 360. :doh:

 

Anyone playing Lost Odyssey should do themselves a favor and install it to the HDD. Cuts the load times down to 1/4 or 1/3 of the original load time in most cases. One of the games that truly benefits the most from the install feature.

 

I install all my games to the HDD, just to reduce wear and tear on the DVD drive.

 

Meh, all this has been software stuff, it's not like they're adding processors or anything, hell if they're already far enough in production this could end up being a Day 1 system update.

I still doubt it, just because it seems every game is having some sort of Kinect integration, plus I honestly think getting one with a smaller hard drive is pointless.

EDIT: wow I just realized I totally bungled up that last sentence.

 

Is the OP taking a poll to know if it will be "cool" to buy an XBOX One? Make a decision for yourself man.

 

Microsoft just released an unboxing video of the Day One Xbox One model with Major Nelson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbrmAsxJPv4&feature=player_embedded.

I love unboxing videos so its nice that microsoft is embracing that and trying to reach out to the tech fans who watch them. Also that Day One model may end up a nice collectors item since its limited run with some different chrome highlights on the controller.

That said, for people who have privacy concerns there are user control settings, which we believe are great.
