Apart from Uruguay x France, all those games were good. Haven't seem much of South Korea x Greece though. That goalie from England... :banghead: How long it will take for England to have a good gooalkeeper again? Anyway, i hope Spain wins the cup. Or Netherlands.
Want England to win, but credit to the USA as they have come a long way in world class level football.
i am very happy for a draw against England. by any means necessary. lol now we just gotta win the next two games, where the USA are actually the favorites. South Korea looked pretty dominant for being ranked as low as they are.

I love the people of Brazil, but I sure as hell hope they don't win the cup. They always fucking win. I want a team that has never won to win this time. I'm rooting for Spain. Mexico sucks, anyway.
I want Argentina to win just because El Diego as coach is so awesome. Of course, that's also the main reason they aren't gonna win :lol:
Netherlands would, indeed, be great. It'd be fair, too, after losing two finals against home teams in 74 and 78. Analysing the cup, looking at the teams and their previous results, I think the likely candidates are Spain and Germany - but we have yet to see Brazil and Italy perform. I also think Paraguay could surprise a lot of people. I don't really think Brazil is a contender this time because of Dunga's coaching style, but that's also probably my desire to have somebody new win the cup. There's been 19 cups and it's always one of seven teams that wins. That being said, my country's team will get their arses kicked before the round of 16. They suck SO bad this year (... and in general)
Amazing performance by Germany. Podolski, Mueller, Özil (great player!), Lahm, Klose (even though he missed an easy goal), ... all played great.
Germany were my pick to win the tournament at the beginning. Such a good team at such a young age. The argies look good and will be a threat if they can start scoring a few more goals. Unfortunately England haven't got a hope in hell, our best three players (attacking wise) are not playing in their preferred roles which will cause us major problems in the last 16 onwards. Why we never build our team around our best players instead of trying to cater for the others is beyond me Heskey, Lennon, Millner, SWP will not win us the world cup! Rooney, Gerard and Lampard could do so why are they playing out of position!?!
