WTB: certain Gran Turismo titles

'Black Label', just means first edition I believe. So it would be a copy of the game from when it was first released.

I have just noticed this thread, and i have some comments about what you discussed.

Firstly,
The NTSC/UC GT3 Demo on Ebay, yes it is a legit demo and i think it is an early build, because it has a different layout of annotations in gameplay. How rare is it? I have come across just two times including the listed one on eBay since i grabbed mine. One is a listing without sleeve and the other one is the currently listed.

Secondly,
About GT4 BMW 1 Discs, there are 2 versions, the common version is a time limited demo and labeled as "BMW 1 Series Virtual Drive" and the rare one is a demo without time limit for dealerships and labeled as "BMW 1 Series Virtual Drive Dealership".

By the way, I have spare copies of GT HD Install Disc and GT 4 Online Test Version, both are factory sealed. I have been considering selling them, but not decided yet.

Unfortunately nothing too exciting lately! Since I got that BMW disc all I've purchased was a normal copy of GT4 (NTSC-J). I'm mainly right now on the prowl for those brand-specific discs, like GT4 Prius and those Concept discs for cars like the Copen and Lupo. Also trying to find some promo discs and DVDs on the side.

 

Good stuff, hope the GT4 is in good condition. I have both the Copen and Prius special editions; and the Prius Trial Version actually shows up fairly often (like once a month) on Yahoo JP Auctions. I haven't seen the Copen edition for a while, and I have seen the Lupo edition for sale once; and I missed out on it due to it selling at a pretty high price...

I have recently bought a copy of the 'Gran Turismo 3 A-spec Netz Toyota Demo'. Can't wait 'til it arrives!

 

That's cool. Up until now pretty much every purchase I've made was off eBay. I've tinkered with trying a third party site to do Yahoo Japan, but the commissions and final price always end up being less than favorable. I know we talked about this a while ago, but which English third party site do you think has the better service and cheaper costs? Oooh thanks for the link! I keep meaning to upload pictures of my collection but I haven't got around to it yet. Looks like yours is growing steadily. Yeah, the fees are a bummer, but they're unavoidable really. The one I use is called 'Easyauctionjapan'. To be honest, it has received mixed reviews online but from my point of view; I've always been happy with the service. There are probably more out there so it might be worth looking around; though one more I know of is 'Rinkya'. But I haven't used that site myself.

 

That was the site I was actually planning on using. I'm confused with the deposit system, what is that about? Will I lose the required amount of yen from that, or am I essentially adding funds that can be used to bid on stuff?

Ah right. Yes you deposit however much you want to bid with, then that money is stored on your account and you can bid on items with it.

Hi Skier, thanks for your PM. Yeah I meant to reply the other day actually but I was fairly busy. Anyway, that's a really lovely and unique find! It'd be interesting to hear what the more experienced collectors like Ortus and EdwardV12 have to say about it.

 

I'm definitely going to PM both of them and see what they can say. Through some research I can at least confirm the cover is in fact real. But I would like to see if either of those guys has one of these, otherwise I can safely say for once that I have an item even the greats like Ortus and Ed don't have

 

Yeah, hopefully it'll be unique. Ortus' collection definitely isn't as extensive as Edward's; not to say Ortus' collection isn't impressive! But I have actually notified Ortus of things that have come up for sale before that weren't in his collection. Anyway, let me know what they say.
