Mine feels pretty much like a Japanese Saturn pad but smaller. You may have some dirt behind the D-Pad. A good clean may solve the problem.

Funny, I actually thought about buying it just to give people outside of Japan a chance to get it. It's a bit risky at that price, and I'm assuming it will go for over 200,000 yen. Ad 15% for eBay and Paypal then you need to be noth of $2300 before you see any profit. If I did buy it, it wouldn't be for the profit because I don't think much is there.

The high bidder will probably get it anyway. I'm guessing it's a bidding service based on the high feedback. I've seen that name bid eBay prices for Yahoo items quite a bit.

Yeah, looks like a small company (some "recycle shop"). Seems to have also several copies of CodeWarrior 3.0 for PS2. Or they don't find a buyer. At least I've stumbled upon the auction a few times before.

It's not an awful price, although it's a bit too high. RGB Amps don't wire themselves.

At that price there would have been a load of profit, no joke. Even what it sold for there'd be a profit. (367k yen)

I know many people who desperately want the tuner. To the 'tune' of $4-5k. No shit. You could probably get $7.5-8k for that set privately. Ebay, not so sure. But I have seen average boxed console/boxed screen sets go for £2,000/$4,000 on there.

Still, lovely set indeed. My favourite looking set up ever.

I hate how European shops do this. I have to spend 5 minutes for removing all 3 or 4 stickers in PS2 and Mega Drive games, and I just don't buy SNES / N64 games anymore, only unboxed. They should go the JP way and use baggies.

I've got a PAL version of MSR (Never came out in Japan) that has F*ing E.B. Games written on the disc in black marker pen. Those people who write on the discs or covers need to have their balls cut off or if a woman then ....err..... well, I'll have to think about that.

Because it was being developed by a non-jpn maker (Bizarre). My theory is that they refused to release it in Japan because they thought the Dreamcast street racing market was already occupied by Shutokou Battle.

GameStation have a habit of writing on stuff with permanent markers, too - it's really annoying. CashConverters here use stickers with very strong glue... Removing them from smooth surfaces (DVD/CD cases) takes a while and the case remains sticky for months - things like Mega Drive cases aren't a problem, for some reason. I know there's a thread about de-gunking sticker residue around here somewhere - that'll come in handly next time I buy a game or seven from them.

A branch of GameStation not far from here have been by-far the most annoying/stupid: They put those security strips on the front sticker of Mega Drive carts... After a few failed attempts at removing them (taking most of the label with them), I gave up and started leaving the tags on...

I know that a few times when I've bought used GC games they've had this retarded stickers on the discs with some really strong glue that is close to impossible to remove >=/
I bet they do it just to annoy their customers.

You couldn't be more wrong mate. Sega were to release it in Japan just like in Europe. It didn't get released because Microsoft paid Sega big bucks for an XBOX Exclusive. MSR was indeed originally called Project Gothem. I knew Martian and Sara (the owners of Bizzare Creations) back when I lived in the UK and found out a lot about MSR back then before magazines in fact. They also talked about their other project that became Fur Fighter.

Ok, my theory won't have any chance against your exclusive 1st hand sources

Very interesting though, I always wondered about this. But what had MS to do with MSR? They had PGR as an exclusive and earlier MSR wouldn't have been the technical poser like PGR anyway.
