Plus, that will cost 100$ just for shipping it.

Hence, why I said, if it stays cheap. It's one of the things you have to factor in (along with condition & risks involved with shipping) when looking at stuff like this, unless you're lucky & find one nearby.

Not neccesarily impossible (see Parris' epic TOOL thread(s) from last year!). Pain in rear? Quite likely, they do seem tempermental beasts. But look back through the various threads - one reoccuring theme was initial failure to get video - until the hidden VGA port is found. Plus, not everyone knows they also have a web interface.

Indeed! Still remains one of my favourite looking bits of hardware to this day.

    Odd one - PS1 debug/Net Yaroze hybrid?

This auction is rather confusing - at first glance it's for 3 separate boxed, apparently new PAL DTL-H1202 PS1 green case debugs.

    http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h59114790?

But, the images appear to show a blue case debug (even with the little bit of tape present to keep the lid closed). On top of that, the controller appears to be from a Net Yaroze unit (lovely black fuzzy texture). And the final puzzling thing is the memory/controller ports on the unit itself are black - I've never seen a PS1 debug with black ports?! IIRC, the only PS1 units that had these were NY units.

So, are these re-cased NYs? Or did Sony really produce some funky hybrids? Or just the wrong pics?

The units looked fairly used for new units, as in the joypads should be bagged and sealed, as should the power cables and there are no pictures of the cable ties (hidden) or the back of the machine or indeed the screws...

Here's one for the Saturn fan.

    http://page16.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u26198468

    As new FULL Navi set!

The tuner is so rare, only the third boxed one I've ever seen (although just the second I've seen for open sale, and the other had a beat(ish) box). (as well as 2 unboxed ones..one unit/remote only, one unit/remote/fixing plate only)

I'd get it myself but funds are low and I have a comparable set already (better even..no stain on the screen box)!

NIce mod indeed but not worth the price it's going for.

Ah sorry. I kinda had to tbh (in my way of thinking I mean) as I'd hate some reseller getting it and jacking up the price 300%. Something that nice should go to someone who'd appreciate imo, without a profiteering intermediary if at all possible.

Edit..just to clarify as my post reads a little odd. I've no problem with resellers generally as they provide quality goods to people who otherwise wouldn't be able to get them. But I'm just passionate about Saturn, and I love the Navi saturn lol! I also know many many people who are desperate for the tuner to go with their sets (some of whom are Japanese). In fact I don't know anyone who has a tuner (and a lot of people who aren't sure it exists lol), but a lot of people who would pay big for it. But navis can sell really cheap in japan, I've seen nice boxed console and screens sell for under 100k yen numerous times. But outside of japan you can be talking big money. Last year I saw 2 average boxed console/screen sets go for over £2k (so roughly $4k). So meh, I hope this goes to a good home for a good price. Hopefully yours Yakumo!

Not worth 2600 yen? Pass the bong, please. It's switchable between US & JP regions, has an added internal RGB Amp, outputs via AV Multi with stereo sound. No need to dick around w/ a hacked cable w/ a DIN connector, and needless to say, wiring the headphone jack back around to the RGB cable. This is an excellent mod. Too bad he didn't do it to the nicer looking Japanese model though.

2600 yen? I'm sure I saw 20'000 yen or so. That's why I thought it was way over priced.

EDIT - It's the buy now price I looked at. He wants 28'000 yen for it. No chance!

Since we're talking about Mega Drives now... All the 6 button pads are so stiff? The one which came with my MD2 is incredibly bad, I mean, it's nice to use, the plastic is great quality, but the D-Pad is horrible! Doing hadokens in Street Fighter 2 is a pain in the ass.

I'm quite sure about it being not a bootleg since I bought the MD brand new. XD
