I think it is really unfair to the other people who was interested when items are ended early like that.

Adol put a small bid in at the beginning I think, but I thought maybe you bought it wheelaa because I thought the user name was for a member here, and he might of bought it for you, but maybe I've got it confused with a similar name?

 

Not me sadly, I wish! It is annoying when that happens though. I remember a while back a few people here (me included) moaning at a Saturn Rockman special package, new, that was ended early. Not in the same league as this, but annoying all the same. I always bid early now on items I really want, lesson learned and all that.

I do think the winner is a french deputy service or user though. I'm sure one Frenchie I know has bought stuff with that ID, and some of the items for sale (all?) are definitely Adol's.

Whatever, I'm sure the buyer is chuffed to bits.

can't see the complete nickname on this page ( http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/show/bid_hist?aID=g68798782 ) but highest bidders' nickname starts with "pay" which make me think of "paypalaposte", the french guy from whom I used to buy things in japan (and bid on yahoo with his account)
I know his brother personnally so I can tell a couple of big big buyers are among his clients (including a couple of french shops) but he usually used is over yahoo account to buy for them.

 

I must admit that the Paypalposte pisses me off. I've lost a few auctions due to that name bidding way over the odds. Great for the seller but annoying for everyone else

Paypallaposte is a french deputy service.That means HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE piss you off,then, because this account bids for hundreds (thousands?) of people. You can't know who exactly is bidiing via this proxy..just like for Chaosjapan/Shoppingmalljapan, Rinkya and others proxies.

But if you're pissed off just because you're getting overbidded on items you want,then you shouldn't bid on auctions...Because that happens 90% of the time ^^
You need to accept somebody is willing to get the item more than you,and then is willing to bid more than you.

One lovely item, anyone any ideas of numbers made? Given the price are more going to appear with greater regularity do you think? (Like E0 saturn)

I don't need to have a word.It's not mine. You'll notice paypallaposte sells some items. i'm not paypallaposte. I just sent him some games to sell (mainly PCE CD Sealed games,but SFC Games, FDS or even Nemesis LCD Game)...not ALL ITEMS he's selling are mine, like coats...or this sapphire.
Anyway it seems the auction has been stopped,so your problem is solved.

 

Considering how rare it is to find just one complete used copy (never saw one for YEARS...with case AND black plate), i don't think a factory sealed one will appear anytime soon.

 

dont know anything about the item but i do know that seller is a scammer, cheated me out of a 30K item once, beware if youre planning to bid.
