    I actually think it's not that much overpriced, although it keeps being rather a "reasonable" but a "great" deal. If you divide the price through the number of games you get around 11$ per game. There are some more or less expensive games among the set like shooters, vs fighters, limited editions ect. so I think it's not that bad. And even very common Dreamcast games are not so easily to pick up for less than 11$.

    most games in the pack are worth between 200 and 1000 yen. average price per game is over 1400 yen in the auction. bad deal. and definitely more than 11 bucks per game.

    plus i assume you would have to send it to a foreign country (if not living in japan). take shipping, insurance, tax into account and you will be at nearly 2000 yen a game.

    anyway, even if it would be a decent deal. why on earth does no japanese person buy the set? ;-)

    auction ended w/o a bid... ok i know, dc is one of the most UNpopular systems in jp. but still if it would have been "reasonably" priced shouldn't there have been at least a bid at 220000 yen?

    just my 2 cents!

    I think you might struggle to find a lot of those games new and sealed for less then Y1000, although there is nothing ultra rare there, so I could see why no one in Japan would bid on a collection of sealed games. Although if he split them up I think he would get more then what he was trying to sell it for as a collection...

    agreed. Finding factory sealed Dreamcast games is much harder than say factory sealed Saturn games and that's an older system.

    The guy would have been better off making sets of 5 or 10 games.

    The Dreamcast wasnt Unpopular in Japan at all, It just wasnt as popular as Ps2.
