    Something early like, 1.0 - 1.1.

The RAM is still on the board. It's questionable if they are functioning, but you can have the board for $10 and what ever shipping is.

Let me know how much is shipping I'm in Portugal so it will depend of that. If it was only the chips for sure wouldn't be much but the entire board may cost a bit more.

I'm just not comfortable removing the chips. I mean I could try sure it's just flux, and braid. I'll check for you now bro.

Well Australia post is about weight not size, so the prices are fixed :( if I can remove the chips from the board it will be A LOT cheaper. However with the board it would be around 500g. Which is like $17.20 to post. :/
I'll contact Bad, and ask him if he can tell me how to remove the RAM.

Ok thanks that would be better because I don't know if I will go ahead with this or not if I spend until $15 or so I can go ahead much more isn't worth it. I don't have a regular xbox, still need to find one also and then I have to tweak it to run VC which will be something new to me also. So as you see the less money I invest the better.

The perfect would be to grab a console already with VC running ok on it and for that I could stretch the budget a lot more off course.

Okay, I know it's a bit old now, but I finally got VC3 to work on my debug Xbox. I didn't realize that I needed to have HD cables in order for it to boot. Fortunately, I had a set (MadCatz brand, IIRC) in my closet! Hooked it up, and now it works fine. Both fortunately, and unfortunately, my TV is a CRT. Good news, I can use an actual lightgun instead of the overly sensitive gamepad. Bad news, I can't actually play the game in 480p. I tried adjusting the settings (i.e. NTSC-J, widescreen, etc.), but unless the HD modes are disabled, I get a distorted screen. Oh well, at least it works!

Thanks for the update. Not sure if the problem you pointed out can be solved maybe someone here knows about it and can give some help.

It's your cables. I could run in 480p fine.

It's the TV. I've tried running games in 480p on this TV with different cables and my 360. On other HD TVs that support it (LCDs), it's not a problem.

Here in the US, there are SDTVs with component input. Such sets do not accept 480p.

This applies to my TV set. Accepts component but does not support HD resolutions. Either way, I thank God I found this TV. :)

Me too, that would be the only reason! Been looking for reasonable priced debug kits for a while but none coming up. I love the VC games.

I know, I did consider it last time he put one up but was still a bit pricey for me considering all I want is to shoot some bad guys lol.

Let's just hope that the debug mobo isn't a requirement. If you do pursue this, please keep us updated. :)

Ahhh, damn. Well they were a good price though, maybe shipping to you was crap. :/
