That would certainly be cool mate! I'll probably go back to the "Crusty House" in Ichikawa (on the Sobu line from Tokyo, on the Akihabara side :smt033 ) because it was pretty cheap, I know the surroundings and there were plenty of nice people staying. After my tales of weird but bountiful and sometimes alcohol-fueled cavorting a few mates of mine are probably going too :D
Too bad you was in the UK when I was there, I had a JR pass and there's a Shinkansen to Shimonoseki if I'm not mistaken.

And cahaz, don't worry about your English, I met three nice Frenchies in the Crusty House, only one of them spoke decent English, the other one was sort of borderline ("do you smoke ze sheet in 'Ollande?") and one of them spoke English nor Japanese! As long as you stick togehter or know your way around you'll be alright :smt023

Last call, summer's almost here, who's still going?

I'll arrive in the middle of June and by July I should be in Tokyo.
Can anyone recomend me other cheaps places to stay(like the 'crusty' house)?

(someone please move this thread to the japan forum!)

I'm up in Iwate prefecture, but if folks are getting together I could go down to Tokyo. I'll tag along if nobody minds.

Come to Shimonoseki? You said it yourself in one of your vids:
    :-D
Still seems 100x more interesting than any place here in Portugal!

Anyways..... I will stay in Osaka for a a week or two before heading to Tokyo.
Can you make it to Osaka?(I think its much closer to Shimonoseki than Tokyo)

Sorry, I hate Osaka. Dirty shit hole of Japan I call it. To be honest though I doubt I'll have much free time in August or will I? Hmm, I'll have to find out.

Hmm, over all I'd say it's cheaper but not that cheap. And like ASSEMbler said, people in Osaka are slowwwwww. They are also very rude, crap drivers and bloody annoying because they are far too loud !

    :prayer:

radiant silvergun? perhaps in this travel I will take it, but at the moment is not one of my priorities... I would want visit the several cities and the culture of the place, then some purchase when of it I have the occasion in the dead spots of the travel.
