LoL, collecting doesn't make sense??? I'm lovin' the new editions. All those Famicom carts are beautiful.
@Blai I believe they were preorder bonuses, at least Border Down was. It's not very hard to find the Border Down one cause many shooter fans pre-ordered Border Down, but the other ones - while undesirable cause it's adventure games - are hard to track down. I'm just glad that I can collect some rare bits here and there, and maybe some day I will have all the games for the mousepads and can say "LOOK dude, I don't just have the game, I also have the mousepad" LOL Nerd-phantasies @graciano Collecting doesn't really make any sense right now as I'm almost never home and can't play or even glance at my games. I seem to have a bit of a shopping addiction, however, so I can't really stop There's plenty more Famicom stuff coming up, too! High quality games even, not just shovelware. So psyched (it should arrive towards the end of July). I just keep telling myself that in a couple of years, when I move into my own place and can unbox my entire collection and all the new additions, it's gonna be like 100 times Christmas at the same time. I noticed that I've already forgotten about some items in my possession and the amazement I feel when I notice that I own them is deep. The passion of collecting lives on... and will never die!! This sounds crazy, but honestly, I'm absolutely sober right now. It's really how I feel LOL
Just received a ton of Famicom stuff, more than 70 new games, so I thought it's time for some new pictures of the full Famicom cartridge collection :d 246 different boxed cartridges: All Nintendo games in a silver box. Golf normal & FF-logo version, Devil World normal & Pulse Line version. My kobako (small box) games. Missing Popeye, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong 3 (Nintendo), Macross, Namco Vol. 15: Super Chinese, Namco Vol. 18: Skykid (Namco), Nuts & Milk and Lode Runner (Hudson) for a complete set of small box releases of all manufacturers. Just two examples of how beautiful Famicom covers can be: Cosmic Epsilon, one of the less known games to support the 3D glasses. Absolutely FANTASTIC, I would immediately buy this as a gigantic poster! Box is in so-so condition, but the cover is brilliant, isn't it? Also, my Saturn-collection: 392 games (not visible the ~30 boxsets) out of 1267+! And my Japanese Sega Saturn demo collection. I currently own 122 out of 243+ Japanese demo discs... around 50%!
Have you got the Megaman X4 Limited Edition box set with action figures? I've always wanted to see that set they seems pretty rare.
@Maxou I kept track of my expenses, but I cannot share that number! hahahah @geluda Nope, that one is still missing. It's not for sale all that often and I'm not a Megaman fan, so I keep postponing the purchase. To celebrate this special addition today I had some Zaru-Soba. Delisoba with already delivered Soba.
@Maxou It looks like what Kron said but it really is Zaru-Soba (Japanese buckwheat noodles served ice-cold with soy based dipping sauce). @Juste Thanks! By the way, I made that cap myself, it's not official. Just thought it'd be fun to walk around with a Delisoba Deluxe cap. Joys of a geek? Some news: A Dev-Saturn I actually bought the system during my vacation in France this summer. It's complete with box, accessories and instructions, but I thought I'd stop for a minute and take some nice pictures in front of the French alps I'm 100% sure that this is a place no Dev-Saturn has ever been to before LOL
