Thank you guys Today I received some more "upper-class stuff", very refreshing after all that "need it for a complete collection" Saturn-trash I received over the last few weeks. http://s1.directupload.net/images/080519/xpoahpwk.jpg http://s5.directupload.net/images/080519/co9vjul7.jpg http://s5.directupload.net/images/080519/gvrgafhl.jpg Is that one sealed/new? The sticker does not seem to be removed/reattached. PS: 3-9 ポールさん
I got 4 new Saturn games today (EMIT 1-3 & HiSaturn PictFlash DonDon) and as this was the last load of SS-related items I was looking forward to receive, I thought I might take pictures of my current Saturn corner which is the main part of my collection and my very personal passion =) Everything: The Virtua Stick Pro is complete in box w/bags, instruction and marquees (even the invoice is included), I was just too lazy to get the giant box from the cellar up to my room. Except for EMIT Vol. 1 (-.-) every game is complete with spine-card and almost all who had one are also complete with reg-card. The CD is always scratch-free and the cover/spine fresh and uneffected by the sun! I give very much attention to each games state, no matter if it is expensive or not Demos/Hibaihins: My incomplete Mogitate/Flash Saturn collections: Limited editions & other boxsets: Shooter collection (29 out of 55 Saturn-shooters) Other good stuff that I like to play apart from the shooters:
Japanese games didn't have that seal I'm afraid (at least Mega Drive games). And, where did you get that massive joystick? Is a cab one?
Sticks are the pro edition of the HSS-0136. I would love to get hold of those someday. i got the single stick. it's sahweeeeet.
I got this stick off ebay for 125 Euro shipped. Tough price, but that is almost what it goes for even in Japan excluding the massive shipping costs, so I'm very satisfied with it Like graciano said, its the Virtua Stick Pro HSS-0130. It even says "Astro City" on it and looks also similar to the Astro City cab's panel: The buttons are not really the best though. I keep it in its original condition due to my collector's principles, but you could also mod it into a superb ultra arcade stick using Sanwa sticks+buttons
Some days ago, an old friend from Japan hit Germany and now lives in my room. He is very hairy and likes to hunt cats - no, it's not Alf. We have a lot in common, for example our love for SEGA's Saturn http://s2b.directupload.net/images/081012/spikuvlk.jpg or some Famicom stuff. http://s1b.directupload.net/images/081012/z522jg56.jpg 僕のルームへようこそどーもくん!!! http://s8b.directupload.net/images/081012/5xu7kigd.jpg Yeah Domo, these are some biiig boobs. :O
It's been some time since I last took photos of my collection and I must say I never bought so many games in a single year. In 2008 I bought/traded approx. 300-400 games (and sold about 250-300 doubles & pal games). Anyway, I thought this might deserves some recent shots. Overview Xbox 1+360, PS2, FC, NGC, GBA, 1x DS, , GC, N64, MD et SFC. This shelf also contains my movies. Favourite directors are Kubrick, Godard, Truffaut, Jodorowsky, Kitano, Weir, Hitchcock and many more. There're too many good movies to count and I own only a small part of them, but I try hard to improve my collection all the time The HDTV for DVDs. I play less and less often here, somehow I'm losing interest in 3D-games at all. Maybe it's also a matter of time as I have rarely the nerve to get sunken into a game that takes me 20hrs to complete. I prefer playing a 2D-Shooter or a Famicom game for 20 minutes instead when coming home after a 10h schoolday. Only on weekends I tend to enjoy some killing sprees in GTA IV or races in F-Zero GX. The picture quality looks kind of grose, that's because the dvd-player is currently showing us a VCD. Who knows the films title? ^_~ Retro corner, no changes except for Gals Panic being new since a few months. I _LOVE_ that game  The other shelf. Most changes are kinda "interior", everything is stacked in front of something else and vice-versa, I am seriously gonna run out of space if I'm continuing to buy games. Which I'm gonna do, of course. Under the shelf are my PCBs (Dogyuun, Simpsons, Aero Fighters), some German magazines (~100x "MAN!AC" 1995-2007) incl. their DVDs (the discs in the spindle). The barco screen, not many changes in here apart from now also being connected to a supergun and not just to the ps2 & saturn. In the end, my Saturn collection. Not many changes since the last photo, maybe 2 or 3 new games (including one of the two really hard to find Nissan VCDs with sega serial!) Some items are not on the photos, but I don't think they are too interesting anyway. fin du cinéma
Thanks for your comments guys! @vectrex It's a Barco SCM284 and I'm very happy with it. The picture is as sharp as an Mexican barbecue in the late evening and apart from being really heavy (metal frame) it's just great to tate. Incomiiiing! Tatsujin, remember what I told you after they donated me that ashtray at the Hey Akihabara? Well, as you can see, the blue Taito goodie has finally found a pleasant place to live. http://s10.directupload.net/images/090323/r55eaujr.jpg http://s10b.directupload.net/images/090323/id233r9d.jpg http://s10b.directupload.net/images/090323/3lwhqb3z.jpg My room now, crowded and almost no space left: http://s10.directupload.net/images/090323/c7e2yzyn.jpg http://s11b.directupload.net/images/090323/gouz7ocs.jpg
Koei time: Mr. postman just brought two premium packages that I got for a nice price, so I couldn't resist even though I am still pretty much broke due to the arcade cabinet I bought in March. Sangokushi Koumeiden Premium Pack (game is sealed) Sangokushi V Premium Pack (w/spine, reg, map) And a shot showing their lovely appearance next to a normal game: Koei made such beautiful Limited Editions even up to this day and I am really sad that I neither like strategy/adventure games nor understand a word of what they say in i.e. Sangokushi. The guides have lots of colored screenshots in them and are really nice (even with a short manga that makes fun of the Sangokushi characters), just awesome for Japanese-speaking fans of this genre. Anyway, I am satisfied by enjoying the nice box-design  If I'm not mistaken there are still 6 Koei boxsets of this size to hunt down. Can't wait to see what they all look like in a row on my shelf, but as there are some very expensive & rare ones among them it'll take its time untill completition --------- I also replaced the majority of images in this thread with links so that the loading process isn't so annoying (I hate it when the page keeps expanding because more and more images are popping up >_<). The album links in my first post are up-to-date again (pics of nov08 that I also posted above).
stunning, no other words for it, im 19 and my collection consists of under 750 titles still thats just outright amazing!
