I have always thought it was strange that Shadow Dancer had nothing to do with "previous" Revenge of Shinobi. TecToy did a prank on us but to this day, Revenge of Shinobi is still my favorite. Yakumo, I have subscribed your channel and you do a wonderful job. Hope Patroen grows to keep it up your work.
Love the Mega Drive version of shadow dancer, one of the games that made me want a Mega Drive back then. I had an Amiga 500 at the time
Shadow Dancer is one of my favorite love and hate game. I just love it, but I hate how hard it is! I played most the SMS version, and damn that's one of the hardest games I've played. The last boss is totally unfair! The Mega Drive game is amazing "new" Shadow Dancer. Amazing for it's time for sure. Actually I'd love to get arcade board, together with Altered Beast and E-Swat.
Hey, it's been a while since we've heard from you, PrOfUnD Darkness. Battle of the Ports - Kyuukyoku Tiger or Twin Cobra if you'd like
A rare episode where the game in question is ported well to all platforms it's on. I'd LOVE to own a X68000 one day.
Another great episode Yakumo. I think the Toaplan collection is one of those games that have issues running on a PS2. Have you tried running it on an emulator?
Ah, that would explain why it didn't work I'll give t a try via emulation or on the Dreamcast via Bleamcast.
Yep, probably puyo puyo 2. It won't be the next show as that is an action platformer but the following show will be the one.
Awesome. Yeah, Puyo Puyo 2 is a good one to cover. I think most fans of the series would say it's their favorite.
There's something I was wondering about related to the Saturn version: I know it has a new soundtrack, but is there a way to use the music from the original arcade/MD versions? I'd like to get either the MD version or the Saturn version, but I really want the original music.
I've never actually played the MD version but I have played the SFC versions which features some of the same music as the Saturn game. The Saturn version has quite a lot of music tracks but I can't remember if you can choose arranged or normal.
The arcade version - which I think is the basis of all of the other versions - ran on the System C-2 hardware, which was MD-based.
